Packing List

Does anyone what genius at eBay decided that the price of the item and shipping paid should be omitted from the packing slip?...I know when I buy something I check the packing / order slip to see if it's correct, but now eBay has deleted that for us and our buyers....it never ends...

Re: Packing List

I don't know why they did, but the time to check the price would be before you pay surely?

The packing slip should tell you what is in the package.

A copy of the invoice is online.

Re: Packing List

I read that eBay was having problems with sales tax on packing slips so it was easier for them to remove the prices entirely instead of fix the issue.

Compare your confirmation e-mail or your purchase history page to the charge on your funding source.

There is a work-around through seller hub to include prices on packing slips, but it sounds like you're more concerned with what you receive as a buyer rather than what you include in packages you ship?

Re: Packing List

When I used to ship internationally, the packing slip was something I always included, since the package could be opened a the buyer's country CUSTOMS and the price and s/h were supposedly helpful information.

I don't know what sellers do now with international sales, perhaps they make their own?  or just don't include it.
