The space wasting scroll happy Techs are at it again ... just got dumped in to the New Sold page and there is 1) no Tell us what you think link so I can expound on how ridiculous it is and 2) no Go back to Classic view link to get out of it .... I tried going back to the old format URL to no avail.
This is just simply stupid how they keep wasting space and time of course with all the scrolling and I bet you I will find it is missing some key item that the old format had ... I am so ticked right now, I was checking to see what item sold and BANG ... new page ... did not even bother seeing what sold, this kind of thing really takes the fun out of it that's for sure.
I need a 52" flat screen and 25% resolution on this new format to see what I used to see on my 17.4 laptop screen at 125% ... I see part of one sold item and previously numerous sold items on one page ... who in their right mind is doing this? Take those stinking Crayons away from the designers and give them their slide rules back.
Does ANYONE know how to get back to the Classic view on the Sold Page??? I hate every one of these new page wasting formats they come up with ... hope I am around for The Weekly Chat tomorrow (but knowing them it will nto be General Topics so they don't have to put up with a bunch of us pointing out another bonehead page design ... sorry, but I am torqued and trying to keep this as level headed as possible but am excercising some real restraint here ... )

I agree. The SH takes a little getting use to. But once you arrange the boxes in the format that is best for you and use it a bit. It is fine. Rather boring in regards to its graphic appearance, but it functions fine. All the info I need is there and then some.

"Ebay wants everyone to use Seller Hub and giving us these awful pages is their way of encouraging us to go there I guess. ... ... ... I think eventually they will dump everyone into Hub whether we want it or not." @hollysfinds
Agreed.
And when most of us are comfortable and have familiarized ourselves on the SH (Seller Hub) - am not surprised that there will be unannounced changes there too. Keeping the users on their toes is the name of the game.

I've been using the Seller Hub for a long time now. I have not experienced what you described.

@*coinsI have been in Seller Hub since I got stuck in it last year. However, I read numerous posts on it, took notes, etc. so that when I was forced into I set it up in as efficient way possible in about 10 minutes and as their incomplete Customization allowed. I use certain parts of it but prefer the Classic My eBay pages because they are better then the Seller Hub Versions. I do however like and use the SH Unsold and not Relisted file for Relisting ... however they just screwed up the total count display on that one so I have to do yet another work (meaning more work) around so that number reflects what is actually in the folder.
I have Bookmark links to the old page formats but this new Sold page can not be accessed that way anymore. Stupid, really stupid ... I just posted on the Weekly Chat about this page (professionally objective of course).

I agree with @mam98031 I am not sure how to even operate outside the SH. Everything I use in it works as it should. I use a lots of different parts and they work the way I think they should when I try them.

@goodluckselling, @mam98031 First, this NOT an anti-Seller Hub thread ... this is a page layout efficiency preference thread ... there is a difference. I USE the Seller Hub, I like "some" of its features BUT every selection on ALL the tiles on the Hub takes you to a specific Page ... that's why they call it a "Hub", like the center of a wheel.
eBay rolled out this new page and made it LESS efficient then the older format, period. They've done that on more then one occasion ... It doesn't matter if you get to this new page via the Hub of the Classic My eBay, it is a space wasting less efficient page layout. They can still have the same amount of non-business related items on the page, they just need to move them to the gutters, its not rocket science, more like 1st Grade Reader stuff ... Dick, Jane, Spot and Puff ...

I don't know if this would work or not, but maybe the change is only on eBay.com and not on the others like .ca and .co.uk?
If you go to these links (it will ask you to sign in), does it send you to the all selling page?
https://my.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextAllSelling
https://my.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextAllSelling
I know it's a little tacky and everything will be in CAD or euros and it is a bit tacky, but it may work depending on what you need to do on the all selling page.

It looks like the page is centered from the pictures you have shared which indicates this change is due to users overwhelmingly using mobile devices to operate there business from this page.
Because we have seen dozens of other changes exactly like this because of the mobile presence in users, eBay has finally gotten to this page that you hate so much. They probably waited as long as they could to make this change?

This was my thought too-- the old page was an absolute nightmare to try to use on a mobile device. This one looks like it's optimized for mobile viewing and use, which makes sense because these days the majority of web browsing is done on phones and tablets.

Yes, I knew from day one on the new page roll outs (The Community included btw) they were gearing towards NOT only mobile devices but also touchscreen laptops & computer screens. Its an easy fix for all of that too ... its called "Preferences" and Sellers should have the ability to select which screen type they are using ... so when one logs in they are either given (form their Preferences choice) the Mobile device formatted screen or the laptop-computer screen format and even in the ladder indicate whether or not their screen is a touchscreen or not. The laptop I use today actually had that option if I would have wonted it (meaning it could support touchscreen technology) but my preference for the way I use it is to stick with a mouse and keyboard. I grew up in the era where the mouse did not exist and EVERYTHING, ALL Navigation was done through key strokes, many I still use today. The frustration is in KNOWING there is a solution yet eBay not pursuing it like other sites ... not sure if you do any online banking but check it out from both your smart phone and a computer or lap top ... they have different formats ... why? because they know there are different hardware users pure and simple.

I got sucked into the new page and suffered for about 2 weeks....
Suddenly, one day a link appeared out of nowhere at the top..."Go back to old selling page", so I clicked it and everything went back to normal again.
I now pray everyday it stays normal, because that new selling format was not fun.

I am not sure users should have the ability select the type of screen to see. That would indicate it is a right to have this ability. I do not agreed with this thought direction?
Also I do not do any kind of banking/paypal/merchant account from my phone. Are you kidding me?

No, I am not kidding you, an entire generation younger then ours is doing just that ... they live their lives on their mobile device but they also do work on computers and lap tops at their jobs or at home. The point I was trying to make was this ... banks have two type programs for users to access their site ... one is mobile based through their app and the other is computer - laptop based for those who use those devices. The technology is there, its a common practice ... eBay should offer it too because its no longer rocket science. Other companies KNOW what type of device a user is accessing their site with ... if eBay is trying to make a one size fits all program geared towards mobile devices they will be failing on computers and laptops as we have seen from many posts like mine on page layout. Other companies solved the problem ... eBay hasn't, can't, won't, take your pick ...

Hi there -
This thread is to opt-in folks to the new orders page of Seller Hub.
There is no option to opt-out of Seller Hub, and there is no opt-out of the new 'Sold' view page.
Thanks!

Truly a sad day in Mudville ... the Mighty Sellers have struck out ...
I posted on the Weekly Chat about this today, politely and professionally of course. THIS thread is the moaning and groaning one to get it off our chests so we can be civil on the Weekly Chat ... although that too required some restraint. Now, if they were to change the page layout as suggested I would be fine with it but they eat up all the Work Space on the page with the superfluous junk thus cutting down on how many Sold items one can see per screen. Its a "work" page for Sellers not an AD page for eBay ...
