Opted out of International shipping affects current shipping? Okay

I just sent a package to a customer in Israel and opted out of the EBay global shipping program and was wondering if it’s gonna affect the anything to the package and such. I already shipped it before I opted out of it.

As you shipped under the program, it will remain under the program.

No it won't affect the item that has already sold

The gsp isn't on your listings now however it does show that you ship to quite a few countries but they still show that you ship internationally.

For example, a buyer in the UK will see this on your listing..

Will ship to United Kingdom. Read item description or contact seller for shipping options.

What I learned about the GSP is that the seller is protected more than shipping internationally without it.  Any breakage or item broken issues are covered by ebay.  I won't ship internationally unless it's through the GSP.  If you ship internationally with GSP, you are responsible for the item until it's in the member's hands, and perhaps after as well.  With GSP, the seller is responsible for getting the item to the global shipping center.

If I wanted to not ship using GSP, I wouldn't ship outside the US.
