I'm having a really hard time grasping this whole scenario here so without us sellers eBay wouldn't exist but yet eBay is going to charge me a fee if I am not meeting up to their expectations. I didn't even know I was working for them so I got to put in my time my stuff run my car my gas to the post office and then eBay is going to find me if I'm not doing a good enough job that's like if I own a car dealership and and you come to work for me then I'm going to charge you every time you sell a car there's something wrong with this it this is like it's backwards than the way things used to be this is wrong it shouldn't be this way I'm really struggling with this stuff on how they can just charge and hold money and put your money in an interest-bearing account and just keep taking my money away it's ridiculous I'm really struggling with this and there's nobody here that can help me with anything I had a return two people sold me fake coins do you think eBay cared and stepped in to assist me with it and no I couldn't use the stepping button because it wasn't there they kept telling me you have to take action you have to take action I'm like well the last email you said was I needed to sit tight and get it wait for a label and you would think that if there are people sellers told me a counterfeit US currency that they would be a **bleep** sure good and well that that the seller at least sent me a label or they would at least tell me well we're waiting for the soda to send you a label instead of take action now like it's my fault I am really upset today

You have incurred the wrath of some ebay followers by breaking the 11th commandment... "Thou shall not criticize ebay". Thou shall get punished.

Every time you list an item you consent to the user agreement, payment terms, marketing terms, privacy notice, and fee structure. There are links to all of these agreements before you click "list it."
You'll see similar links shown before you make a purchase and perform other actions on this site. Every retail site and online marketplace operates this way, even the ones where you make arrangements to buy/sell/trade in person.
You need to read what you're agreeing to, and if you can't see you can always download an app that will read it out loud to you. Get help from friend/family/neighbor. Zoom your screen size.
Don't just assume because you didn't see or chose to ignore something that the rules don't apply to you. Every site is going to have an agreement, especially when a financial transaction is involved. To believe otherwise is to your own detriment. This is information you should seek out.
I'll echo what another person said above and suggest you de-list all of your items until you read all the policies and understand them. In addition to all of those policies linked on the listing form, you'll find more here related to all manner of buying and selling topics: https://www.ebay.com/help/home

First off welcome!
A few things popped into my brain while reading your post. First, think of ebay as your landlord. To open a store or to list an item for sale is like renting space from them. You aren't working for them. They are offering you a service. That's why you pay for a store or you pay a final value fee on (fvf) on your sales. Ebay holds funds for new sellers and for those that have had a long while since they sold something on here. Your money will be released to you. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&s....
If you have a problem with a purchase, ALWAYS go to your purchase history, select the item, and choose what you want to do (return, contact seller, etc). There's no such thing as no returns. A customer can return an item if it is not as described or if it is damaged. Once a return is requested, ebay will automatically provide you with a label that you use to return the item. You can request a USPS pick up and have them come to your home or business to get your packages. That will save you a trip to the post office.
You should read the policies and get to know them. You can also ask for assistance on here. This community has a great knowledge of just about everything ebay related. Good luck to you and happy sales!

Exactly, I guess with that attitude her eBay career will probably be short lived.

Stores biggest benefit is to get more listings at a lower cost. Sales improvement no so much if at all

Whether you were aware of it or not You Did sign an a USER AGREEMENT the second you became an eBay member. There is a legal thing called "electronic signatures" been around for a while. Here is what you signed.
Take time to read it plus all the embedded links.
Hint: There soon will be telephones without cords.

In order to start selling on eBay then you had to agree to the User Agreement. Whether you read what you are agreeing to is on you.
