Offers

I had a custom built 1/64th scale truck I was selling and had make offer. Some guy made an offer and I accdepted it right away with no delay and the guy had 2 full days to make payment. After the second day I thought just another buyer screwing around and not serious so I relisted the item. A day later he sends me an email being really sarcastic and threatening and I told him I thought it was just another buyer not paying right away. Sends me another email saying he had to work last night, doesn't make sense to me what did he do for 2 days if he works during the night? Had plenty of time to pay for it, I send him an invoice and no reply since November 6th. This morning November 14th I decide to relist it and I get 2 nasty emails from the same guy and I just decided to block him and cut the game playing and threats! I have been selling on here for years but very little and I'm not into big bulk stuff, I'm seeing way to much kiddy play from buyers than acting like civilized adults! When I buy stuff or make offers from other sellers I pay for it right away with no delay so the seller can get it out in the mail. I don't live in town I'm in the country and when I do have mail going in, it sucks when these people drag their feet.

Re: Offers

Some buyers know the game....two days you can file Non Paying Bidder...they then have 5 days after that to pay for the item.  If they don't pay, then you can request refund of fees and then you can relist.  If you don't go through the correct steps, then technically the first buyer is still in play, and can still pay for the item.  If you received a refund of fees and relisted after receiving notification from Ebay, then there is nothing the original buyer can do.  If you relisted before cancelling or you cancelled the sale all together, you will receive a ding to your selling account...two and you're done selling.

Re: Offers

My apologies if I missed it, but did you file the unpaid item case?  I do not relist until I've closed out the existing transaction, but as a seasoned seller, I'm sure you know that since you could end up with two buyers and only one truck.
