Hi @blazebird, you should be able to review offer history directly from the listing. Can you give me an item number example so I can double check for you?

I actually haven't had a recent one where my offer to the buyer wasn't accepted, but the point is why aren't these communications recorded in my messages?

Hi @blazebird, these messages would be recorded on the Manage Offers page, which is accessible through a listing that has offers. If you get an example anytime soon, definitely let us know!

The point of my original question is that I don't have "Make An Offer" on 95% of my listings.  I get messages from buyers asking if I will accept so & so or can I do better on the price?  I respond to these with the option of making an offer.  Those are the offers I have no record of.

Hi @blazebird, I apologize if I have been unclear - in the situation you are describing, you would be able to review this communication on the Manage Offers page directly from the listing. This page includes the information you are looking for. It would not be saved in your messages because it is saved on the Manage Offers page. This is where you would find the record you are looking for.

Okay here's one that came as a question  on 10/2/18. I replied to it with an offer.  The buyer didn't take me up on it.  There is no "manage offers" that  can find on the listing page!  https://www.ebay.com/itm/122833768331?ul_noapp=true

Trinton, I have to respectfully disagree with your statement.  I've never been able to see what I send to a buyer using the "Send an Offer" feature in messaging.   It's a real problem and I spoke with the eBay guy that was heavily promoting the use of MO in that chat last year at length about this issue. 

I have to remember to take a screenshot to have the details or the information is lost, unless the buyer happens to reply to the offer with a message.  It DOES NOT attach the item (unless this is a recent change).  I have a regular customer that I almost always end up using "Send an Offer" to give him the bundle price for what he wants.  He now knows to respond via message to the offer before accepting it so we both have copies.  Not an optimal solution.

"Send an Offer" should drop a copy in my sent messages because it's a MESSAGE that may contain a LIST of items the buyer wants to bundle.  A number of us made multiple suggestions, including that "Send an Offer" link to a invoicing page where the seller could create an actual invoice for the contents of the offer.

this is where I think he's talking about......but I don't have a send offer on anything that's active right now:  see right nex to Your item is for sale?

@dhbookds  Yup, that leads to the best offer/counter offer history, which as of the last time I used Send an Offer, does not include them.  

You are welcome to send me a message using Contact Seller from one of my listings and I'll respond via Send an Offer and we can see if it's changed or note if you want.

He confirmed there is no copy of the message, but it shows in the offers on the item itself.  When I send an offer I can see it by going to My Ebay and pick see offers (or whatever the verbiage is).  It is in the same place and looks the same as offers on listings where best offer is available.

Ok,

It doesn't show on the Overview page under open offers.

But it does show on the Offers page for the listing itself.  They must have changed this in the last 6 months or so.

And clicking on the offer does show the message to buyer. 

So @Anonymous this is better than it was.

However, if dhbookds were to accept the offer it will disappear and I can't get back to the Message to Buyer, which is also an issue.  I still say a copy of the Send an Offer/message should be copied to my sent folder for messages.
