I don't know how much more i can take.. I went to list some tops today,,,

started fresh,, created a new listing.

there are no predefined item specifics with drop downs..!!!!

only suggested specifics..( see pic)when i accept them,, it creates basically custom  defined specifics,.,. which we all know are not findable or searchable..omg,,there is no brand drop down, no size drop down,,nothing!

I know you gave me an email to send info to. however.. this is beyond just sending an email.. this is ridiculous.

how can we knowledgeable sellers get the person who makes actual decisions in the backend programming department to contact us and work specifically on these problems..    there is no way to "fix" what is going on.. every message to the programming department has the listing work flow more screwed up... 

all of this OF COURSE.. affects search results and buyer satisfaction..or rather continues the exodus of viable buyers .  buyers will not tolerate having to figure the "new" correct way to search for items they are looking for.. there are too many other options out there.. buyers don't want the hassel..... especially when predictable, reliable. familar  search functions on other retail web sites do not have these constant problems!

Ouch.

I have seen similar happen on Motors, but it usually repairs itself within an hour or two. Once it took around 24 hours.

This happened to me today as well. I tried using the sell similar tab on one of my listings and it came up normal with the item specifics in place.

I am using the Advanced listing form and the Item Specifics are all glitchy and not performing. Boxes completely gone, even those required by eBay. When I go to list the item, all the IS disappear and I get an error message, and have to start all over again. (Also, the photo field was missing entirely a little earlier this evening.) I posted the problem on a thread in the Tech Issues forum.

The guy I talked to says they already know about the issue but this sure doesn't help me for right now!  I have listings sitting in unsold I need to change and put back up!  I also have new items to list!  So I can't do that?  Terrible.....and lots of lost $$ because of this!

That's happened to me in the past. The only work around i've found is doing sell similar or saving as a draft and continue listing on the mobile app.

Sell similar is not working at all.....all item specifics are gone.  I have a lot of custom item specifics too like all the measurements.  I find that buyers on the mobile app might see them if they are in the item specifics!  I can't duplicate all that work!  What a disaster!

Same issue.

I tried at many times but got error message which tells

"It looks like there's a problem with this listing.

• The item specific Size Type is missing. Add Size Type to this listing, enter a valid value, and then try again.
• Variation Specifics provided does not match with the variation specifics of the variations on the item.
• Variations Specifics and Item Specifics entered for a Multi-SKU item should be different."

So, I added Size Type for the Item Specifics and filled in Women but got same error message.

I was trying "Sell Similar" and as other member says, No Specification Box.

I could not list anyway.

So some categories of clothing item work....pants, bras, swimwear, skirts, shorts, kids and sweaters I think.  Tops, dresses, men's shirts are a problem.  Thing is, I have a LOT of tops and dresses!  Most of my sales are these items....

PLEASE FIX THIS ASAP!!!  I have a lot to list right now too....

Trying sell similar, drafts, templates - none of it works.

You've got one job eBay, ONE JOB.

Adding your own item specifics doesn't work because it needs to be in eBay's template.  What I'm doing is just listing everything and saving to drafts, hoping it's fixed by tomorrow. At least I'll have part of it done!

I got that too today! This among other strange glitches today. Can't get Markdown Manager to start a sale for 5 hours, Can't remove Best Offer that eBay keeps adding to my listings. Can't log in. Multiple "it's not You" error messages. It's becoming a complete nightmare. Sales dropped again. Customer service has no clue or if they do they aren't saying anything. Here is the latest report # to add to the growing pile of reports on my account SR1-221421096257 . I should receive a call or email within 24 hours for an update. If that happens it would be the first in about a dozen times I've been told that by eBay CS. I'm spending way too much time trying to figure out why my account is BROKEN than selling. Isn't there some way to just transfer your listing to a new fresh account that doesn't carry all the legacy Code?

same here, even listings that I edit.  Added a photo to an existing listing, all the item specfics missing :*(  This better not be a permanent thing.

No item specifics at all in Women's tops

They are present in Vintage Women's tops

None in dresses

They are present in women's sweaters...

That's all I checked.........

Same here!  They went from having way to many item specifics to none.  It should not take 20 minutes to fill out item specifics. Everything is so cumbersome on this site.   I wanted to do listings today, but I am not sure if I should.

Here is a revised listing, before and after..  Where sellers could previously zero in on a specific feature of a product, for our example I'll use case size, they no longer can as the seller has no way of inputting that information.  It basically makes the search feature obsolete and sellers impotent.
