I sorted thru a pile of past sales and see that out of 223 sales, 23 were made to CA. Followed by 16 in both Florida and my home state of PA. 11 states bought nothing. Nine states only had one each. Are more sales made to CA due to name recognition? Does eBay advertise in some states more than others? Just wondering....
The popluation of California is 39 million, which is about 12% of the US population. So it's not surprising that about 10% of your sales were to California. Probably the only reason it isn't more than that is due to zoned shipping costs.
CA, FL and PA are all very large states in population, so it makes sense that most of your sales are coming from them. Now if 20% of your sales were to Montana and only 1% to CA, I would be concerned.
