Hello Guys, We recently acquired a few vintage Rolex watches at a local state sale, they are both original and have been overhauled by our watchmaker. One is a 1953 6284 semi bubble back 34mm, the other is a 6466 oysterdate mid size 31mm. For some reason , We are getting 0 views on these two items, furthermore when trying to look for them on the browsing they are not showing. Any idea why this can be? Thank you all very much for your help.
Sincerely :

The listings are being screened since they are in a category with many fakes. I know because I occasionally list Rolex parts and watches myself.
They will take a bit longer to show up. They don't want people bidding or buying before they ok the listing.

I see 51 items, but when I put the word Rolex in nothing comex up under this ID.
When did you list them?
I think I saw one post where indexing seems to be slow so it may be taking longer for them to appear.

Ok that makes more sense thank you guys for your help, pherhaps it will take a little longer than normal regular watch listings due to the amount of fakes out there , thank you

Thank you, Not sure why this is happening. We cannot even see it once we type the description on the browsing search tab. We have tried to delete and relist them multiple times and nothing. Pherhaps we need to retake all the pictures live rather than uploading existing pictures? We are not sure how to handle it, pherhaps we need to contact eBay and ask them why this is happening?
gkyn29 told you why this is happening.
And every single time you have deleted and relisted the item, you are further delaying the appearance of your listing.
List them, leave them alone, and come back here in 24 hours if there is still a problem.

Are these not considered high risk items? If genuine Rolex branded..A

Every time you delete and relist it just puts you back into line and will take even longer for your items to appear.

Ebay shows the ones they think will sell first. Best regards

OP, many years ago a friend of mine would have me list/sell his high end watches on ebay for him if he needed the money. After many scam attempts, I told him that the risk was too great and I didn't want to do it for him anymore. He learned the hard way why.
Watches are some of the highest scammed items that sellers can risk on the internet. Just to give you a heads up....
Do you know what to do if....
The buyer claims there is a problem?
The buyer wants to return - and then returns a busted Timex instead of your Rolex?
The buyer claims it's a fake?
The buyer claims the box was empty?
Buyer asks you to ship to another address?
ect, ect, ect and so forth....
If ANY of your responses start with ebay will or seller protection - you WILL lose the item AND the money. And you will be out shipping and ebay/paypal fees to have gotten scammed.
Know that no returns does NOT mean no refunds on ebay.
If I were you, I would thank my lucky stars taht there is no interest and end the listings. Then look up scams and watches and read up on most of ebay's policies about how well a seller is really protected and get a LOT more selling feedback before you relist the watches on ebay

Vintage Rolexes?????
I am shocked that the OP has not been overwhelmed with offers and scam attempts already.

I've sold a $10,000 Rolex, a $4,000 Rolex, and half a dozen $2,000 Rolexes on eBay over the years without any problems. They were all vintage watches, which may have lowered the scammer interest. I've also sold hundreds of other high-end watches and watch accessories, mostly vintage, with few problems.

How long ago did you list them? I have things I listed earlier today that are still not coming up in search, usually it doesn't take even that long in my little category. Hopefully yours will show up soon. Good luck. I think retrose gave you some great things to think about. Be careful. Most of my items are under $50 so I am not taking on much risk, I have a heart attack just thinking about selling something some of these super expensive items.

As others have said, some larger ticket items may take longer to index.
I have found that indexing is rather slow lately on regular items ... just have some patience 🙂
(oh ... and ...psst ... its a "tie" not "tied" on your vest and tie combos --- color and material in the titles & descriptions wouldn't hurt either)
