Hello Guys, We recently acquired a few vintage Rolex watches at a local state sale, they are both original and have been overhauled by our watchmaker. One is a 1953 6284 semi bubble back 34mm, the other is a 6466 oysterdate mid size 31mm. For some reason , We are getting 0 views on these two items, furthermore when trying to look for them on the browsing they are not showing. Any idea why this can be? Thank you all very much for your help.
Sincerely :

Some listings take longer to show up due to Ebay's policy to keep the marketplace safe, and they state this.
Not saying you are doing anything wrong.

I have found that indexing is rather slow lately on regular items ... just have some patience 🙂
This has been my experience also. It is very unusual these days for me to get a quick pop in views on items that would have generated a stronger immediate reaction in the past.

Very strange. The word ROLEX alone would have brought buyers in.

I did an internet search on, how long does it take a new listing to appear on Ebay?
This is what came up.
If you recently listed an item or revised a listing, it might not appear immediately when you search or browse. Although listings are generally searchable within 24 hours, to help make eBay a safe place to buy and sell, there are times when this might take longer.

If they're browsing, yes. If they're searching by "Rolex" and it's not indexed yet, it wouldn't turn up. I'm sure people still browse listings, but search has been the preferred way of finding something for a while.

But I'd bet a china seller could list and sell 100 of them before a USA seller gets theirs even to show up.

Not to be picky, but you should proofread a bit - With a aftermarket leather Band, please note this is a vintage pre owned item and does shows sings of wear due to age and normal use, after market band no Watch only no box no papers.
Makes it appear that no watch is included. (also sings should be signs).
Gotta love ebay suggestions - Frequently bought together - a 3k rolex and a 77.00 generic watch probably made in china.
I'll probably be keeping my eye out for more Bulova Accutrons if you have them .. I bought the one you had listed(it was made in 1977, not 1990's).

Thank you, Not sure why this is happening. We cannot even see it once we type the description on the browsing search tab. We have tried to delete and relist them multiple times and nothing. Pherhaps we need to retake all the pictures live rather than uploading existing pictures? We are not sure how to handle it, pherhaps we need to contact eBay and ask them why this is happening?Every time you delete and relist it just puts you back into line and will take even longer for your items to appear.

You remind me of the tapes I bought at a flea market a long time ago. They were MEMEX, not Memorex.

With all due respect, retrose, hopefully that won't be necessary.
