Not Getting 10% Back for TRS Plus Listings

Hi everyone.  I hope you are all enjoying the holiday weekend.

 

I am a newish seller than started listing again on Ebay in late January as a business.  I reached TRS seller status last week and changed my listings to free returns (already had 1 day handling time) so that all of my listings would be TRS Plus.

 

However, my sold card TRS plus listings are not receiving the 10% discount.  Even a card that was listed last night and sold this morning under TRS plus did not receive the 10% discount on the final value fees.  I sold a toy a few days ago, and it did get the 10% FVF discount.  Are certain categories eliminated from receiving the discount or is there something wrong?  Will I get reimbursed?  And what is the best way to contact someone to correct it if there is something wrong?

And what you quoted is inaccurate.

 

Ebay does make these mistakes. Mostly their poor choice of wording.

 

They are advertising on the listing itself that it's a top rated plus listing so the change is done prior to the 1st. The only thing that isn't changed is the billing portion.

 

You can see that the listing states it's TRS+  either what you quoted is wrong or the OP didn't get their TRS this last evaluation.

 

If you think that the OP didn't get their TRS from this last evaluation then a bug is happening that they aren't getting their proper billing since it would have started at least by the first of this month.

Oh, I see what you are getting at now.  I've not seen that happen before.  Sorry for my post, you are correct and I was incorrect.  Well me and the written policy.

Yeah I noticed it on one of my newer TRS accounts. Within 24 hours I got it to reflect I'm TRS on the About page. The listing said it was TRS+. Search results took a few days to show the badge in search view. Billings for the % Discount started on the first.

 

Ebay should reword it. Something like starting on the first you unlock all the benefits of TRS.
