Hi everyone. I hope you are all enjoying the holiday weekend.
I am a newish seller than started listing again on Ebay in late January as a business. I reached TRS seller status last week and changed my listings to free returns (already had 1 day handling time) so that all of my listings would be TRS Plus.
However, my sold card TRS plus listings are not receiving the 10% discount. Even a card that was listed last night and sold this morning under TRS plus did not receive the 10% discount on the final value fees. I sold a toy a few days ago, and it did get the 10% FVF discount. Are certain categories eliminated from receiving the discount or is there something wrong? Will I get reimbursed? And what is the best way to contact someone to correct it if there is something wrong?
Thank you to everyone that responds. I really appreciate it.

Are you sure? This would be a very unusual issue. Would you please give us some examples.
What category you are selling the item in.
What was the total sale including shipping and sales tax.
What FVF were you charged?
I do see on your sold list that you have several sales that do NOT qualify for the discount as the return policy is not Free.
And there are several others too.
In looking at your current listings, using the filter on the left to tell me which listings have Free Returns, it tells me that you have 557 active listings. You can go to this link, drop all the way to the bottom and you will see if there are any listings not set up to be TRS+.

There should be a trs plus discount on cards. I actually wasn't sure if you received a discount right away or at the end of the month but if you have received it on one item, it must be available to you right now.
Are you looking at the breakdown for those items and seeing that the discount isn't applied? If you aren't sure where to see that, one way is to go to sellers hub / payments and then click on the little arrow on the right side of the page, next to one of your transactions. Scroll down to see the fee details. If you still don't see the discount, please post that information including what the buyer paid for the item, shipping and tax.
There are specific categories where you do not need to offer free returns or any returns in order to get the discount and trading cards is one of those categories. However, you would not have the trsplus seal on those listings without free returns.
Click on the + link under top rated benefits to see the list of categories that doesn't required free returns

I am 100% sure and will post screenshots. I have sold multiple cards since becoming TRS + and those listings are TRS + when I click on them after they have sold. All of the cards I am selling are not getting the 10%, but the toy that I sold once everything had updated did.
The listings like Heihei, the chicken card are not TRS + because I had not reached TRS status yet when it had sold. All of my listings were converted to TRS + between May 21-22.
But, I will certainly check the listings to make sure all of them TRS +. They should be, as I only have one return policy. I have been posting so many listings over the last day that the link at the bottom that you provided may simply not have updated yet. I have posted 40+ listings over the last 24 hours, but some are selling down.
Also thank you so much for your help.

Hi, here are the screenshots for a card that was sold in the last 24 hours. It was definitely a TRS + listing. I will post where the toy received the discount in a minute.
Sorry if it’s a bit blurry from my phone.

@unveiledtreasures Congrats! If memory serves me right, there is a short lag between being notified you are a top rated seller and actually qualifying for the discount. If you look in the previous post's link to the seller standards policy it says something "we evaluate your performance on the 20th of each month" and it also later says "We'll automatically upgrade you to Top Rated status on the 1st of the following month if you meet all of the criteria". So it doesn't really call out the discount there, but I think I remember a delay.

So, I completely misremembered or read the FVF page wrong of the toys that I have sold wrong. They do not have the discount either.

Thank you so much. This makes sense! And being that I completely got the toys final value fees wrong, this is probably it. Not sure how I messed that up, but I've been up late listing lately😌

Here's a screenshot of what you should see on the fee breakdown with TRS+ discount (Android App version)

Yes, I believe you are correct.
If you get put as TRS on the 20th evaluation, the discount I believe kicks in at the start of the next month.

Things do get delayed on eBay.
My renewal monthly charge is June 1st on selling on eBay.
But eBay usually skips a month during this and I get a double monthly charge on July 1st.
Quite normal about delays.

This type of fee change operates on a 1st of the month cycle even though monthly evals occur on the 20th of every month @unveiledtreasures .
For example, if a seller is downgraded to Below Standard on the 20th - they will be charged extra fees for being Below Standard but those fees won't activate until the 1st of the next month. Just like when they climb out of Below Standard on the 20th of a month, they will still be charged the Below Standard fees through the end of the month and the extra fees won't go away until the 1st of the next month.
In this case, you earned TRS status on May 20th, but the discount on TRS+ listings will not kick in until June 1st.
eBay implemented this change several years back to simplify things and shift billing changes to the 1st of the month. It's not a lag or delay; it's an intentional billing schedule. Hope that helps.

Not just the discount, the seller doesn't become TRS until the first of the following month. So at the start of the new month the seller can create TRS+ listings.
We'll automatically upgrade you to Top Rated status on the 1st of the following month if you meet all of the criteria below at your seller performance evaluation.

That's not completely accurate. As you can see with the OPs listing they say they are TRS+.
From personal experience they will gain the term just not the billing change following evaluation.

What? I merely responded to your statement. Which was "If you get put as TRS on the 20th evaluation, the discount I believe kicks in at the start of the next month." Per the policy I quoted from and provided a link for, that statement is incorrect.
The seller that is eval'd on the 20th of a month that gains TRS at that time, it becomes effective the 1st of the following month. And when that happens the seller can also change their listings to qualify for TRS+.
There are some things regarding falling to Below Standard at the eval on the 20th of any given month that they start right away, but most things start the 1st of the following month. In the policy it explains all of this.
