I listed an item last week and received no notification or message that the item sold. There is no message in my eBay account and I did not receive any email notification from eBay. I am now shipping the item late.
When I go into communication settings I can clearly see that the notification for item sold is already checked.
Is there a technical issue with eBay that is preventing notifications?

Possibly. Ebay is where all the glitches come and hang out. It’s so nice here that some never decide to leave.

How did you discover the sale? Did you verify payment was received prior to shipping?

I can only assume it is in the OPs awaiting shipment page, but they didn’t receive any notification about it. I believe this happens to me sometimes too, I just never pay any attention to it since I always check my awaiting shipment page and not rely on notifications.

I logged in to list a new item and when I went to my orders page an order was overdue to be shipped...

I always have a window open showing all orders and do not rely on email notices.

I recently had the exact same thing happen An item I had listed sold on 3/25, but it wasn’t showing up on my sold items. I went to leave feedback for some buyers on 4/4, and the item was in that list. Then it took some jumping through hoops to find that Yes, it did indeed sell.

Same thing happened to me. I had an item sell a week ago. The buyer just contacted me and asked me to ship it. Can't find any ebay contact info to find out why?

Depending on emails is asking for trouble........there are too many ways emails can go astray......... If you're going to sell here, need to check your Seller hub at least once a day......for sales/problems/messages.
