This has been an ongoing issue for months in the Sports and Trading card categories.
I understand eBay says it takes up to 24 hours for a listing to show up in search; however, this seems to be something different.
I've noticed if I do a variation listing with more than 40-50 variations, it does not show up, sometimes for 48 hours or longer.
When I say it "does not show up," I mean anywhere. You can't even find it in your own store or your seller hub active listings.
The only place I can find it, is by going to eBay's site map, and going to Sell -> End Listing. There it will show if it's one of your most recent new listings.
I've spoken to at least 10 others in this category over the past couple of months and it continues to be an issue.
If you go into an older variation listing and revise it, it will also disappear. Sometimes they never come back. I did a revision of 2 listings last month that never returned after a week.
Yesterday I did 3 variation listings.
The first 2 were 20 items are less, they showed up in 1 minute as 99.9% of my listings do.
Then I started the bigger listing. I did the first 50 items, and it showed up and even got a couple views. I revised it to add the additional 150 items, and bam, gone.
devon@ebayIs eBay aware of this? Is there a glitch or way around it? I've called customer service, they don't know what's up. Again, it's been ongoing for months and appears to be getting worse.
Here is an example of my listing that is not showing up today:

...Meaning after revising a listing from 1 variation to 50 variations, I go to my active listings page and on that page the listing still shows that I only have one variation. This confuses me thinking my revisions didn't go thru, so I click into the listing and see that the 50 variations DID in fact go thru and are all being correctly displayed. Ebay just didn't index the "search result" display yet. It usually takes about 30 minutes or so for it to finally do it...It certainly sounds like eBay has changed the way the Active Listings page is updated, putting it after indexing instead of ahead of indexing.
If this is an intentional change by eBay (or an unintended change that they don't intend to fix) then that's really messed up. Sellers need to be able to access their listings immediately on the backend through Seller Hub for revisions, etc.
@iamalwaysright , the end listings page the OP is talking about might be the help page. Go here then click the giant blue "end listing" button:

Thanks. Hm, I never even knew such a page existed. I typically end listings thru the Actions dropdown next to the listing in the Manage Active Listings page. Although that would prove to be very difficult for the OP since his listings oddly aren't showing up on that page. No way that's intended by ebay, that would make zero sense by definition of the page.

I just noticed today that my listings are NOT showing up under my active listings in the seller hub, but DO show up if I do a search on eBay from my second account as an active listing. 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤦🏻

I've had this problem recently as well. Many of my variations listings are simply not showing up through the seller hub. It's not ideal, to say the least. I hope this issue is resolved soon!

That's a known issue - contact CS and ask them to add your account to the open tech ticket.

Actually @shipscript , that tech ticket does not apply to what @dh_sports_cards_and_collectibles is describing.
That ticket is for listings that do appear in public facing search, but do not appear when using the search box on the seller-facing active listings page in seller hub. I know it's confusing from the way the ticket is worded. 😐
Packers Fan said they can see the listing in seller hub, but not in search. Standard advice in that situation:
It can take 24 hours for a listing to index in search. If you revise the listing the clock may restart.
While longer index times are most common for new sellers, even well-established sellers that typically experience near instant indexing can see the longer indexing time depending what they're listing from item, to category, to key words, to price, to number of variations.

When you create a listing, your item should appear in eBay searches within 24 hours. To find it, search using keywords in your listing, and apply filters to narrow your results.
If you can’t find your listing after 24 hours, go to Selling and check whether it’s active, in draft, or has any other status. The listing needs to be active to be pulled into our search results.
If your listing is active, and it’s been 24 hours, here are some quick checks you can do:
