EBay has the WORST customer service for their sellers on the planet! They especially don't like it when you recite the same crap they spew out every time you have a problem. Wish we could change who runs the place like we did in America. Liberal morons who run companies into the ground need to go!

Capitalism will correct this eventually. It always does.
And, we are about to enter a period of golden capitalism.
SOMEBODY will come along with a better mousetrap and replace this.
Just watch.

I stopped wasting my time calling in earlier this year. There are so many problems with the site and all the reps seem brand new. All the good reps who cared seemed to have been fired during that last layoff. The ship sure does feel like it's sinking.

People have been saying that for decades and we've still got the same old mousetrap because the time to do that passed about 20 years ago.

@urban_picker Sinking? Maybe.
But I think there's the possibility that the Ship's Captain has changed course without bothering to tell the crew , much less the passengers...

Time has changed just about everything one has 3 choices when it does the are they are "lead, follow or get out of the way" - Lee Iaccoca* was the first that I heard say that.
* famous for introducing the the Ford Mustang and bailing out Chrysler with a joint venture with Mitsubishi and the Diamond Star US facility.

As the little girl in that movie stated, "In a hundred years, it isn't going to matter." Less than 20 for me. People should free themselves mentally, and they will feel much better each day.
I worked for the executive branch for 4 decades in DC. Saw it all. Made me sick. Retired 6 years ago and have not been back to the city since even though its a 30 minute drive.
What most Americans don't realize is that the professional political class in this country cares pretty much only about lining their own pockets. That goes for both left and right. They are a sickening bunch. And fluency in lying is prerequisite for the job.
If Americans truly understood how corrupt to the core was their political system, they'd revolt en masse. 😂

This current mousetrap meets the needs of all the mice who are running around on Capitol Hill hoarding cheese.
It's like saying that one day, Congress with set term limits.
Why would Congress legislate themselves out of a job?

Captain Peach Fuzz from Rocky and the Squirrel cartoon - watched him on Saturday mornings in the late falls thru late spring time (lived on the southside of Chicago , Frankfort, Il, with my Daughter who is 54 now and Son now 45 unless I was golfing or fishing. The sea Captain was always getting lost.
PS: fishing was with my children, golf my beer drinking buddies.

I may be mistaken, but I think the poster was talking about someone "stepping in" and replacing eBay - it has been a perennial theme on here for years. When investor Carl Icahn moved in on eBay to bust it up, posters here were even saying "Icahn will do right by us, he'll start up a rival to eBay and eBay will be DONE!!!" Uhhh...eBay meant nothing to Icahn - he had bigger fish to fry. So yeah, the delusion runs deep.

Sorry soul. I gotta disagree.
When Capitalism is allowed to work; weak ineffective disliked companies go AWAY.
BUT, Capitalism has to allowed to work.
The Gov't has been propping up businesses (General Motors, Chrysler, The Big Banks That Are Too Big To Fail ... all those guys) for decades.
We got a new Sheriff now.
I don't think he's gonna go for that.
A LOT of previously successful businesses have failed.
Remember Sears?
Toys R Us? Pan Am? Potoroid?
All failed because they could not change ... would not innovate.
And, they'd still be around if the gov't subsidized them.
We can't stop capitalism from working - then point out that capitalism doesn't work.
Don't force a business to build and 'sell' things they don't want to.
And if you do, you better support them with subsidies when it fails.
Let GM build and sell cars, and if they can't I will start my own car manufacturing business and compete with them.

Capitalism isn't going to solve eBay because capitalism is already working as intended. If someone was going to supplant eBay, it would have happened. Instead, there are all of these little start-ups, and the etailing landscape down through the years is littered with hopes and dreams due to a thing called 'competition' and eBay being first in the space. eTailing is not like brick and mortar and plays by its own rules. The most that may happen is diffusion or a sell-off, but nobody is going to swoop in and save us lol.

Exactly right, but no, they do ship their own stuff. Funny thing, about a month ago I went to put something on my fb marketplace store and next thing you know, my business page on there was hacked into by an instagram account. Meta disabled all of my accounts (business and personal) as well as the fake insta account. Seems they were posting inappropriate things on my biz page and their insta. NO WAY will I ever create a new biz page with them. I stopped ads with them a year or two ago. Absolutely no security whatsoever and no getting an agent either. They are just the worst of all of them.
