I sold an item (a vintage dress that got a lot of interest and sold almost immediately). The buyer had a feedback of 1. She sent a message for me to pack and ship the item when she bought it (as if I wasn't going to do that) and then asked again if I would ship it that day on the next day. I chalked it up to an impatient buyer, I have had them before. I printed out the label the day after the sale and shipped the next day (within my window of S&H time). I get an e-mail that the buyer is no longer registered with ebay and that I shouldn't ship the item. I am wondering if this is a scammer and if I should try to put a stop on the package. I'm guessing if it is a scam, the buyer would do a charge back (and is there any way to fight something like that).

Sometimes those form letters from eBay arrive way after the fact. To my knowledge and many years of reading here I have never heard of eBay taking back the money from a seller who has already shipped so long as it was sent and delivered to the address provided by eBay.

If you shipped USPS you can try a package intercept but it costs somewhere between $ 15 and $ 20 to do that. The sooner you do that the better, if it is the cocktail dress at about $ 75 it might be worth it.

In the vast majority of cases nothing negative happens. Buyers can get suspended for many reasons, it doesn't necessarily mean they are scammers or that there is a problem with their payment.
Those notifications are boiler plate and are sent to any seller that had a recent transaction. I've received a small number of them over the years but the buyer payment was never affected.

You are still protected under the sellers protection policy if you shipped off already and the item was to state delivered. I have had this happen to me as a seller many of times. I would also recommend to contact Ebay and ask the rep to confirm the protection. There are multiple reasons why a buyers account was suspended.

I would do as @mr_lincoln suggested, put in the intercept.
The buyer was rushing you because they knew the NARU was coming. Probably used a stolen credit card.
