Neutral feedback just disappeared

I had posted a few weeks ago about someone that left neutral feedback and filed a "not as described" case complaining of something that was clearly mentioned in the description. I am making a new post because the previous one got long.

I just noticed that neutral feedback is now gone, I had reported the buyer for falsely claiming the item wasn't as described not really expecting any result, is that report what would have led to the feedback getting removed? I did not send a revision request to the buyer as he was clearly uncooperative.

Thank you

I'm sounding like a broken record...but offering free returns gets your feedback cleaned.

What? That's the first I ever hear this. Can you please explain?

I couldn't find a written policy for you if my life depended on it, but I asked yesterday on the weekly chat about feedback being protected for SNADs.  I know it was already protected for remorse returns if you offered free returns, but this was surprising.  The response was from ebay rep Trinton.

Why would offering free returns protect a seller from neg/neutral feedback for SNADs, since a SNAD falls under the ebay MBG?

Hi @fern*wood, this is one of the incentives we offer to sellers for providing a service that our buyers are looking for. Going the extra mile for your customers allow us to go the extra mile. Our sellers ask for protection based on their performance and this is one of the ways we deliver that slight smile

I can't find it either.  What is in the written policy about Free Returns is clearly about Partial Refunds and nothing is directly said about SNADs at all.

Another thing that wasn't said in the Weekly Chat bu on a thread on this subject not so long ago.  Is that the removal of the FB when done automatically by Ebay [the seller doesn't call to get it removed] may take up to a week to happen.
