I have a seller who's sent me multiple messages about toys they want to buy from me. They originally asked to combine shipping on three toys. I said I would, but the shipping was really high so they wanted to exclude some of the packaging the toy came with, but they bought it before i could edit the post to exclude it. (My plan is to just ship it so i can't get a "not as described" claim)
They then decide to not buy one of toys until later even though itd be $4 more. I made it clear that if they don't include it in the order soon, it will not be combined in shipping invoice. Now they message saying they want another toy. If they keep talking about adding, it makes it ahrd to do a combined shipping invoice. I think i'm just going to send it with whatever they have bought by 7 pm.
It all seems really odd to me. And they have 5 negative feedbacks for never sending an item as a seller in the next month.
What do you guys think? i'm anxious about this buyer

Unless you're desperate to sell, this might be one to make sure they can't buy anything.

They may be trying to hustle you.
If you go past your stated handling time waiting for them to decide, they could wait until you ship it and open a case for you not meeting the specified shipping time. Then you can be forced to refund an item you already mailed- good luck getting it back.
If you alter the items to make them fit or cut weight then you are correct in worrying about them opening a "not as described" case.
I usually give people a chance to figure out what they are going to do, but you have to take care of yourself. Dont miss any stated shipping/handling time waiting on them to purchase something else. If I cannot invoice it and have it shipped by the time the first item needs to be shipped, it goes out alone.

Do you mean they have left 5 negative feedbacks for other sellers in the past month? if so I would avoid them like the plague, it sounds like they are "changing their mind" on purpose just so they have a reason to neg you before you even ship and then once the negative is in place they probably try to extort a toy for free that they "changed their mind" on in exchange for removing the negative, if they are buying and selling on the same account and getting negatives for non shipment they still don't seem very trustworthy in any case, I wouldn't sell to them just due to their indecisiveness but you've clearly got more red flags than that.

Problem is cancelling 5 transaction would give them 5 OOS which may not be good for them.

To me, it sounds like they are selling your items to someone else who hasn't fully commited to buying them yet/who is yet 'on the fence' about buying - thus they aren't sure if they want/need them from you, or when.

This is an email I sent to eBay this morning regarding exactly this situation,
"I have contacted eBay from the very first day of this transaction. I did NOT want to sell to this buyer and wanted to refund her payment, I was told by eBay I had to complete the transaction. What is happening is exactly what I feared. READ ALL THE EMAILS REGARDING THIS TRANSACTION. I bent over backward to make things right with her. If you make me refund this buyer, I intend to report you to the BBB and my states Attorney General. I will be closing my account and I will make sure to tell all my friends on Facebook how I have been treated by eBay. I DID NOT WANT TO SELL TO THIS BUYER. I have been assured by 2 service reps at ebay I was right and would not have to refund this horrid buyer. I am done with eBay and will use all my facts to make sure everyone I know hears what I have to say about your so-called Seller Protection Policy after I said I did not want to sell to this buyer b/c I knew this would happen. Thanks for protecting me! I would feel safer standing in traffic at rush hour!"

my item description clearly states "Intended for Adult Collectors". I sold a Reborn baby doll. She gave it to an 8-year-old who has played with it for almost a month. She will be returning a damaged worthless doll and I will be refunding an expert eBay scammer. I wish I could tell everyone who this is. If you have bids from tori, don't sell to her.

I realize you want to do sales like all of us do ,, but in my opinion your buyer may cost you more money in the long run . Either this person has a terrible time making up their mind or something more sinister is at play . Either way I doubt the outcome will be good . I can't tell you to drop this sale ,, but it's what I would do after a buyer put me through so much nonsense . Tulips
