Negative feedback

Hello! I'm not sure what, if anything, I can do about feedback left for me the other day on 1/13.  Buyer stated that the bottle was very small and overpriced, learned her lesson. The size of this and the term "Mini" was in both the title and in the description, 6ml  .2 oz and 1/5 oz. I don't know why she expected bigger?!

Anyway, I look at her feedback and she has left 15 fbs, 8 of which were negative, 3 neutrals. All left on the same day as mine. Currently 2 negatives have been since revised to positive.  Her latest revision stated that "...seller settled the issue". Do you think ebay will do anything about this? She either doesn't know how to read titles and descriptions (or doesn't know about measuring fluids) and/or maybe she's up to something by leaving lots of negs, hoping to get refunded by revising feedback? I don't know, this seems excessive, all those negs & neutrals in one day . She also never contacted me about a problem. Ugh.

Re: Negative feedback

She's waiting for you to contact her and hoping that you will provide her with a refund, or at least a partial. Once received she will revise her feedback. Not sure what if anything ebay will do, though you should report her.

Re: Negative feedback

You can contact the buyer, clarify & explain. Ask for feedback revision.

You can post a polite & professional response to the feedback.

You can contact ebay and present the issue for their review.

However you may just be told that a buyer is entitled to state their opinion.

Re: Negative feedback

Also, when you list something that small stick a quarter next to it, not everyone can visualize how big a bottle containing 1/5 of an ounce is.

Re: Negative feedback

I would definitely call ebay and get her on their radar.  She may be on her way to losing her buyer protection.

Follow up with a professional response - size clearly stated in title & description.

I would not bother asking her for a revision because her game is obvious that you will give her a partial.  Do not let her use you too

Yeah how about you ignore all of this! Unless you are looking for more trouble here? If trouble is what you want, go ahead and poke the angry bear. I would take Emeralds advice & Report her to eBay but do not contact her! eBay really needs to crackdown on this buyers who abuse the feedback system!

Re: Negative feedback

When I sold a dish ,I put in the listing it was7” round. The feedback left stated it was smaller then expected. I called C/S and told them 7” was 7” wherever and was the same everywhere. They removed it. But be prepared to speak to several till you find the one that does. Best call during the day.

Re: Negative feedback

You do have the option to respond to feedback. I got a negaitve in one of my stores stating the item was listed as an xl but is really an xs. Well the tag read xl so I responded to the feedback stating I only take the measurements, I do not sew in the size tags and that I offered for her to return the item.

Very good! And yes, 7 inches is 7 inches. There is no room for opinion on this, and it is not up for debate. Apparently, once in a while, eBay makes the right call.

It's funny how as a buyer i can have an opinion regardless of how irrational it may be, and express it in a feedback comment, but as a seller i can not.

Re: Negative feedback

I would also see if she has made such outlandish feedbacks for other sellers and contact them and encourage them to report her as well.

I think your description is a bit confusing.

It would have been better just to state 6 ml, and supply the actual measurements of the bottle.
