A buyer left negative feedback and then realised they had misread my ad and wanted to revise their feedback to positive. Sent over revision request, then buyer said 'they had tried 20 times to post positive feedback but it kept refreshing' and so could not update their feedback.
So frustrating how do we this changed?

That member really needs to contact customer service him/herself. There are far too many variables to determine what problems s/he may be encountering.
Has s/he cleared his/her cache and all eBay cookies? Is his/her WiFi connection wonky? I mean, there are just too many questions to consider to give you an answer.
I just doubt very much this is an eBay tech problem. Maybe you could direct your customer here to the discussion community for assistance.

Just noticed you're registered on ebay.co.uk. You may want to post your concerns on that platform's discussion boards in order to received responses/advice from your fellow ebay.co.uk members.

Just noticed you left the buyer bad feedback as a positive comment. I wouldn't draw attention to yourself, that is a policy violation

If it's the negative feedback from the buyer who admitted a mistake, the reason they can't revise it is because it's too old.

In fact, @geekywotnots , you've posted several contradictory feedbacks for your buyers. That's a huge no-no!
Positive feedback HAS to be positive.

If all else fails, have the buyer leave a 'follow up' to their feedback indicating the correction and mistake in leaving a negative

Not quite sure what you mean by contradictory comments, my feedback is usually automated for positive responses. The only comments I make are on negative feedback posts.
I left bad feedback as a positive comment. I am being stupid can you explain?
1. Buyer said they never got the item, Tracking showed the post office tried to deliver it but it was refused by the buyer. I responded to this feedback by calling them out on it
2. Buyer said 'it was a poorly crafted piece of plastic'. He expected metal and a screen accurate badge when my ad clearly said it was resin and fan-made inspired by the tv show no where did I say it was metal and screen accurate I said so in response to his negative feedback
3. The buyer said I was rude and didn't believe him. My messages to him showed I did all I could to rectify the problem so i said so in response to his feedback
Am I not supposed to respond to negative feedback? I am really unsure now

Not sure where I left negative feedback as a positive comment, can you please explain so I can make sure it doesn't happen again
