I'm relatively new to Ebay and was just wondering about negative feedback.
I've 134 positive and one negative. This was left after a handbook I sold had pages missing and I hadn't noticed. A full refund was immediately given to the buyer.
An honest mistake but negative feedback was left. I've put a reply to the feedback stating what had happened.
Is there anything more I can do about the negative feedback.

Send a feedback revision request to your buyer.

Depends on how many calls you want to make and how long you want to talk to an overseas CSR about it.

Naaaw don't give the OP false hope like that. CS will not remove it for you. Sadly the negative feedback is valid. Your only hope is to send a feedback revision request to the buyer like mentioned earlier. Hopefully the buyer is understanding enough that you refunded them and they will make the effort to accept your request and change the feedback. Just understand that the buyer might just ignore your request... since it would be a favor they'd be doing for you and not an obligation.

You only get so many feedback revision requests so only send it if the buyer agrees. Your reply is good so that should be enough to cover things.

I'd not worry about a revision. The reciprocal feedback is professional and will put prospective buyers at ease.
The first one stings a bit... sorry!

I wouldn't sweat it or ask for a revision. They have a right to be disappointed and your reply was good. When I buy, that is far more important to me than the mistake.

Yea I agree, I'll take your negative more than many other ones I've seen any day of the week.

That negative feedback and your reply makes the BUYER look bad, not you.
I would have NO hesitation buying from you.
Good luck and stay safe!

You'd be surprised. This account...no way. We don't pay enough to talk to USA based CSRs.
