A Buyer left negative feedback because of a post office delay. It shows in transit for 9 days. I've contacted the post office several times. All they can tell me is it's in transit. Buyer wrote "I don't care in feedback". That is definitely not the case! Is there anything I can do besides leaving a feedback response? Will ebay help with this? If so how do I contact them? Thanks!

what does latest tracking show on USPS site? eBay tracking status is not always up to date.
seller has no control over delivery time. Sounds like a Karen looking for a freebie. Add to your block list if needed. maybe wait and let the delivery play out before responding to feedback.

Did you open a case with the post office? If not, do it through the website to locate it. Sometimes it moves quicker when you open a case. You can then provide the case number to the customer via message to let them know that you are working on it. You can then send the buyer a request to change the feedback.
Sorry. We are at the mercy of the USPS.

Did you mention to buyer in your item "estimated delivery is December 12th-14th"? And its only the 8th.
Did you contact the buyer when they contacted you? Most buyers are understanding of a delay so something went wrong along the way we don't know about. I don't know why you contacted the post office...it wasn't late.
Can it be removed?....I don't see a delay. You can try to contact customer service. Not easy as pie.

I would expect that the 12th-14th is what is shown to those that may buy the item at this time😂 not what the buyer saw it the time of their purchase.

What was the last estimated date of delivery?
Does your buyer realize that (a) USPS delays are quite ordinary this time of year and (b) there is absolutely no issue until/unless the item is late by 24 hours? There is also nothing that can be done until/unless it's late.

Ignore what I wrote. I thought it was stuck somewhere for 9 days, not that it was just posted 9 days ago. They are premature in leaving feedback. Take my prior advice after the 14 days period with opening the case. Try contacting ebay agents on ebay for business on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to see if you can have it removed, since it is an unfair assessment.

I did tell the buyer that the item expected delivery was 12/12-12/14. He claims I must have changed the dates because he wouldn't have purchased it then! I told him to confirm with ebay this information can't be changed after a sale! After numerous calls and messages to ebay I'm VERY FRUSTRATED!! This is my only negative feedback!

USPS tracking shows the item in transit. Something is very wrong if ebay is allowing his negative feedback to remain!

How do you know what the buyer saw as 'estimated' delivery dates? (if you look at same item today, it shows if you bought today).
I doubt it can be removed; but you can easily respond in a professional manner "we are so sorry for the delay but tracking does show it is still in the USPS system and is on it's way. Should it fail to deliver we always make things right for our customers.
This way, any future buyer sees the neg, they see you are responsible and will take care of customers.

I tried contacting ebay several times. I keep getting referred to online chat/help. They declined my revision. Ridiculous!!

Thank you for your advice. It's just frustrating ebay refers me to online help/chat. They have been zero help!!

No, that's the estimate being shown on your items today. I see exactly that when I look at your new coat listing. If you bring up an old listing of yours, even a sold one, the Estimated Date of Delivery will be based on today's date, not the date you sold it.

It sounds like both you and he are slightly misunderstanding where that date estimate comes from. The estimate for the shipment itself will show when you're purchasing the label, but not after that. (I looked at one of my own past shipments, and could not find any indication of what dates were shown to the buyer at the time he paid.)

You have almost 13K or 14K positive feedbacks - one neg, especially one that doesn't even make sense in the context of all those good feedbacks, means almost nothing. Don't worry about it!
From a recent experience, I have to wonder if some sellers, as matter of policy, create the tracking, but then NOT send the item out until the buyer asks about it, because a certain percent of buyers will not request their refund and the item can be sold again.

If you look at the tracking for your coat, it should say what the estimated delivery date is/was. It will probably also state arriving late. That date above can't possibly be correct since, as mentioned, that is the date given if we buy it today. Try to work with your buyer (you're not new so I'm sure you know that) and show some empathy/concern that it is late. They might revise later if it arrives and they "feel" something sympathetic in your communications.
I would be far less concerned about the feedback than with your coat arriving.
