Negative Feedback From Damaged International Shipping Service

Buyer bought an item shipped through eBay International Shipping service, arrived broken, initiated a refund and return which is being completely automated and processed by eBay without me having to do anything... and they still hit me with a negative feedback, which eBay refuses to remove? Despite it being explicitly stated by eBay that "Any negative or neutral feedback from item handling during international transit will be removed from your account." The automatic feedback appeal process denied my removal request. Of course the "Call Us" page for eBay customer service now redirects to a generic form based system that doesn't help you at all. Has anyone managed to get through to any customer service reps and get their eBay International Shipping negative feedback hits removed, as eBay itself literally states they are supposed to do? This is my first negative feedback for something that was outside my control and supposed to be fixable, and eBay's shoddy systems to address this are a huge disappointment.

Give it 48 hours, might go away on its own.

Did they say on what grounds eBay refused to remove it? In the policy you quoted and on the policy Help pages, it states that the seller is responsible for the item being safely delivered to the domestic hub leg of the transit journey. It was received undamaged at the hub, i am assuming?

The policy is clear. Damage sustained in the international leg will be eBay’s responsibility and negatives received regarding that will be removed. How many days since you were notified of the damage?

Is this the same portal used for all sellers requests for feedback removal? The EIS program alludes to an automatic removal and therefore you may not have needed to apply for it thru the “regular” portal. I agree with @broto_64 . Give it a few more days. I bet it will get removed.

For those who are interested, below is the policy page link.

The FB should be auto-scrubbed after the return/refund is closed out @grayladyash . That's the same way it works on domestic sales that qualify for seller protections.

I only see a neutral.  Honestly I wouldn't worry about it.  If they remove it, great.  If not really it isn't any harm to you.  It is already buried past the first page which is what buyers look at.  Not sure if that is the feedback you are talking about or not.  If it was a real Neg, it is no longer there.
