Dunno, but people move on. According to Joe K at Marketplace Pulse eBay has an very high percentage of long time sellers.

And we don’t know how representative of the big picture these posts are.  This may be just a period where more sellers are posting about leaving eBay, but the actual numbers are the same or even lower.

FWIW, many older posts I see from buyers or sellers saying they’ll never buy or sell

on eBay again are from users that are still using eBay today.

I'm not sure what time frame the OP was considering, but I would say that the number of people who say they are leaving now is pretty small compared to the large numbers who said they were leaving when Managed Payments was rolled out.

I stopped selling long ago. Got sick of the fees and other changes such as not being able to leave negative feedback for buyers. I was going to start selling once again, but then ebay switched to that managed payment nonsense and after reading all the horror stories about it I found other ways to make money and not have to worry about high fees and dealing with managed payments.
