Was notified that a listing had sold…. But the amount is less than my “Buy it Now” price and charged the buyer for a USPS Ground Advantage label when the item more than doubles the weight limit that USPS will allow.
need a phone number to call and speak with an eBay employee

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant that you reach from the Help & Contact page to request a chat with an agent or a call back.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.
If nothing else works, try this link:

Facebook is usually the best way to contact ebay BUT i don't think they will be able to do anything for you.
It appears you made an error in the listing.

Is this the item? You had it as an auction listing and received a bid which may have been lower than your BIN price so that is what it sold for. Not sure why it charged the buyer for a USPS Ground Advantage label when I am looking at the item I see FedEx as the shipper.

Your bin option disappears with the first bid.

(Sorry, meant for OP, not DB)
The auction had a start bid of $750 and that's exactly what you got.
The seller is responsible to insert correct perimeters in the listing for the shipping so any errors are also the seller's responsibility. You can try shipping FedEx or UPS but they are notorious for after market upcharges. The only other option will be to cancel the sale and suffer the consequences.
EBay customer service does not have magic bullets to cover seller error.

There's nothing CS will do but tell you to ship if the buyer paid.
If you wanted more, you should have started the auction higher.

Have to ship what you sold.
And I wouldn't cancel it...you are still going to pay the eBay fee from that $750. + shipping bid.

On each Ebay page there is a link to contact Customer Service at the top of the page and again at the bottom of the page.
I would suggest that you contact Ebay for Business on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter for the better trained CSRs.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service. Please be aware that for social media CS, you send them a Private Message and briefly explain what your problem or issue is. Feel free to leave your Name, address, phone number and/or your email address in this message. It is private and secure and it may help to speed up the response for you.

Your options will be on the left. If you use the link below you can only get to the Automated Assistant or Chat box type AGENT in the box and hit enter. You will then get more options. Not all options are available 24/7. It will depend on staffing available. So sometimes you can request a call back and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you have the Chat option available and other times it won't me. If it is important to you to use one of those options, just try back later.
If you use a cell phone or other mobile device, you may need to turn off your Spam filter so that Ebay can call you.
If you are a seller outside of the US or Canada, you will need to use the Chat Option.
