Not sure whats going on with Ebay but prices are getting out of hand you sell stuff for $100 and get $10 this is very unexceptable looking for other avenues dont mind you making a profit too but WOW!!!!!!

I'd be concerned about that too if it happened to me. Care to share a breakdown of that transaction for us to see how it happened?

I've experienced a similar issue where promoted listings seem to disadvantage sellers by not utilizing dynamic fees. It's frustrating that they have the power to determine the fees based on the highest possible amount for the day instead of a fair market percentage. For instance, I sold an item for $800, and they attempted to give me a profit of $300. I'm now contemplating whether to continue with this system and exploring alternative selling platforms.
It's ironic that they encourage you to promote listings for increased visibility and sales, only to then take a significant portion of the profits. Currently, they're cutting into almost 47% of my earnings. This seems counterproductive and is making me reconsider the value of using their platform for selling.

Need a little more information on how you sold a $100 item and only received a $10 payout. What exactly were the order details? Can you post a screen shot similar to the following?

If I sell something with a total sale of $100, I pay $13.55 and pay ~$5 in shipping costs and keep about $81.45.
What are you selling and why are paying so much in fees?

If you're selling something for $100 and netting $10, then you're doing something very "unexceptable."

You seem to take alot of best offers. Maybe too low. Probably why the fees are hitting you hard. On top of promoted listings? You do know the fee structure is price+shipping+tax(if applicable)?
