Will the next millionaire be someone who produces custom decorative NON N95 masks? Listening to the news I would hazard a guess that facial masks and coverings will be recommended for some level of protection against virus transmission via infected droplets ... and if I know my Americans the hardware store single color paint mask just ain't gonna cut it. Like T-Shirts Americans will want to make a statement with their facial gear ... they may want the Darth Vader look or Predator or a dog's snout, big smile, or some catchy phrase or statement ...
In preparation for this eBay needs to make sure their computer bots are NOT taking down NON N95 mask listings ... if they don't they will be doing a disservice to sellers offering all different kinds of masks as well as hurting themselves with the ability to make more fees on sold items.

My son was planning to ask his boss to let him borrow a respirator from his workplace lab at college. Apparently someone stole all 4 they had.

Some come with pockets where you can put in your own filter and they are washable/reusable. Most importantly, they keep people from buying up supplies needed for medical personnel.
And yes, I could not resist buying one even though we have some custom printed (as in 3-D printed, not custom graphics) ones.
Yes, other sites will take advantage of a perfectly good situation ... even the news is saying the general public does not need medical or surgical masks ...

Yep, back in February you couldn't give them away and now they are being stolen ... where my wife works someone stole 65 CASES of hand sanitizer ... not bottles but CASES!!! This will bring the best and worst out in people.

Only a socialist or communist country will do this type of control. totally ridiculous all this does is create a black market.

They just made Hobby Lobby close their stores as non essential.
Too bad if you now want the materials to make face masks.

You can buy fabric and supplies online.
But I'm guessing you knew that because you're posting on the ebay community boards.

This will be an opportunity on many levels and if it is missed on eBay some other venue is going to make a killing ... Mr. Lincoln
No doubt ,, but why stop there ? If someone wants to make a killing just get in line at the grocery store and wait for a new shipment of Lysol spray to come in. If curious check out the huge money people are getting for just one can . Plus a 167 dollar shipping fee I seen . I've been sending out some ''reports'' to e bay all morning . However I wouldn't have a problem with masks as long as they didn't price gouge like this B.S . Tulips

Great - remove another way for parents to get kids to do something other than sit on their phone or tablet all day.
They could have done the same thing Walmart did - limit the # of people allowed in the store at any one time, and maintain the 'social distancing' rules.

You look very handsome. And we cannot see whether you're blushing, because of the outfit, so it has an additional bonus feature!

Here is an article about the most suitable fabric types.
"The best masks were constructed of two layers of heavyweight "quilters cotton" with a thread count of at least 180, and had thicker and tighter weave."
Note the reference to furnace filter, also.
