Have you looked at the eBay user agreement?  EBay's share is about 12.5% of the total you took in, that's the price plus the shipping plus any sales tax.   You sold car wheels for over $400; shipped for $187 (to WI), add sales tax of about 10% and eBay's take will be over $75.   If the shipping was more they take more.  I doubt anyone will call you to explain your bill.   Ebay Customer Service Reps have no training as math teachers, they are barely fluent in English.
