I have had an excessive amount of buyers that want their purchased canceled because they purchased by mistake, hit the wrong button, etc. Have had more in the last month than the 20 plus years of part time selling. Wondering what's going on??? Anybody else having this issue?

Auction or Fixed Price?
It seems to happen more on Auctions, but lately we too have been affected by FP Buyers who "changed" their mind.
E-Bay seems to show them others, often cheaper, once they pay. Genuis no? NOT.

Those cancelled orders are going to be a problem for you since they will raise you final value fee rate. when you cancel an order, an email goes to the buyer asking if they approved the cancellation, but many ebay buyers lie, and tell ebay that they didn't want it cancelled. Of course eBay always sides with the buyer and starts auto-grabing a bigger fee from your account

See "additional final value fees" in ebay help section
