I have not had a sale since the middle of November, 2024. I was doing fairly well before that. Is anyone else having slow sales?

I also use PL at 2% (the minimum) but mostly for advertising, since I notice that the percentage of items Promoted is decidedly lower than the percentage of PL items Sold.
PL did increase my Views, across the board, and my sales of non-PL items rose.
So I didn't even have to pay the 2%.

If there are tariffs on Chinese imports, it is the importer who pays them.
While that means that wholesale importers will be paying more for Chinese-made fabric, which might be good for a US-based manufacturer, it would not affect your customers.
Because US residents have an $800 a shipment duty-free allowance.
Your current highest priced fabric is $49.99.
A customer could buy up to $799.99 worth of fabrics from China without paying duty or tariffs.

@reallynicestamps EXCEPT that there is a move afoot to reduce or even eliminate the $800 limit...in fact, that effort has already started, the question is, will the new administration continue the effort or not?
So, yes, at the moment, the $800 number is the rule. It had been much lower, but some years ago, various companies, including ebay and etsy, pushed hard to get it increased to $800. That is subject to change, and it could be drastically altered in 2025.
Only time will tell.
But no one should assume it will simply remain at $800.00. It is basically part of the Tariff Laws, and it will be subjected to intense scrutiny. There will be a lot of lobbyists making good money in an effort to preserve it, or to destroy it, depending on who is paying them LOL

There is only 1 manufacturer of cotton fabric in the US. They do not pay tariffs in the US, but since the greige goods, or basic fabric that is printed on, is all made in China, there are the Chinese tariffs on cotton that is sent from the US.
The importer pays the tariffs and than passes on those tariffs to the wholesale purchaser like me, who passes them along to the consumer.

Yep, I was hoping for some strong sales in November/December but hasn't happened. I'm down 20% from last year which really sucks

Glad Promote worked for you! It did not for me...in fact sales seemed to halt (this was a few months ago) After I did the promote thing I think I had 1 sale a week for like a month...it was awful. I'm not a "big" seller, this will be my second year and I'm down 20% from last year.
I tried the usual getting better pictures, listing new stuff, maybe 3-5 per day, changing up my titles, lowering the cost, sending offers, ANY other suggestions would be appreciated!! Don't hold back, I can take it.
Thanks - Sarah

eBay takes way more money now. They won’t explain why sales are **bleep**. I list everyday. I promote. I sell stuff that’s desirable. Same **bleep** from eBay . 2014 you could actually make money. Now I sell its 59% eBay with shipping. eBay makes no more buyers and somehow makes more money?? They get over on sellers. We pay more to make less.

I was actually on back for the comeback then out of the blue sales been slowed for weeks so now I’m Down 4500 for my 3 month somehow even with listing more profitable items

My sales are down over the past month or two, and it's my own fault.
I haven't been listing as I was before.
I can't blame anyone but myself.

My sales have been nonexistent also

Yes my sales have been down to a crawl and lucky if I sell anything at all. It for me also started after election 2024.
I put it to the economy, high prices of food and everything else. People aren't just buying for pleasure anymore, but buying for necessity . My sales are at an all time (22 years on EB) LOW!
