Multiple items in 1 Auction

Hello,

How does one make an auction with multiple items in 1 listing? Is it possible? (to save free listings limit)

Often I see on ebay people selling star wars figurines for example. When you click on each photo different description and price pops up. That way there is no confusion and I know what I am buying + it saves seller time.

I am selling "normal way" by placing listings 1 by 1. Is there an option to make 1 listing with mutliple items (different price and photo for each and different descriptions etc.)

I call the great ebay community for help as in my last topic I received perfect answer for my problem!

Sincerely,

a fellow seller 🙂

eBay has an option for showing item variations in fixed price listings.  It's supposed to be used when the items are basically the same but differ in one specific such as color or size.  It's not intended to be used for offering different items as a means of fee avoidance.

First, let's get names straight.........

An auction is where people bid on stuff, it cannot have variation listings.

Fixed Price (F/P) listings are where people just buy whenever they want, and can have different quantities so people can buy 1 or 50 of the same thing.

Variation listings are a form of f/p listings that have different versions of an item that buyers can choose.....ie a tee shirt with a color choice.  To use the variation listing, it must be available in the category you are listing in and the items must have relationships....

You cannot do a variation listing as an auction.........

That said, I'm pretty sure you have to use the advanced listing form form for variation listings......AND if you list alot of each variation that may bump up against your selling limits, if you have any.

You need to use the advance listing tool from a laptop or computer on the classic website.  Variation listings cannot be created or revised on the mobile app.

The items in the listing need to be related.   They can all be the same price (easier) but that's not required.  For example, I want to sell 10 differently colored lip glosses by the piece for $5 each.   I would created a variation for each color, but I also want to offer a deal if they buy all 10 colors, so the last variation I would add would be "full set 10 colors" and price it at $40.   Then I would also point this out in my item description.
