The numbers or amount of money included in the monthly financial statement sent by eBay do not make much sense. I called seller support about this three times. In fact, the numbers found under Orders and Performance
do not match. I would like to have an accurate idea of how much I spend and earn on eBay. Does anyone have any suggestions or information?
Thanks

if you want detailed info, there is a report function here that you can customize:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/report
If you just received the monthly report, it means you are billed on the 15th.....most of the reports, unless you customize the dates from the 16th to the 15th, aren't going to match at all.
I use Godaddy to do the monthly stuff (did it by hand for yrs and just decided I wanted life a bit easier).....and then I only keep track of bank deposits.......which, given my minimal cost of items, give me enough info.....

Not sure if this is what you're looking and not sure how you are paid out, daily /weekly, but this will give you all of the info for either the money you made/paid to eBay each time they send you money, with the exception of things you are buying of course...
Have you downloaded a financial report, not the indecipherable statements eBay sends each month?
1. Go to your "Payments" tab from the "my eBay" page.
2. On the left under Summary you will see "payouts" click on it.
3. Click on one of the blue "Payout ID" numbers.
4. Underneath the payout amount on the right you will see where it says "Download" click on it.
This will open an Excel spreadsheet which has all of the financial info. It shows the original amount, net amount, individual eBay fees (a lot) for each different transaction, shipping costs, and if they charged extra for "below standard" or international sales. I use this for my bookkeeping and it has always been right on. It will also show if they pulled from your bank account etc for returns/refunds etc, and if you have a store subscription that will also be on there when it comes out. If you have a question about a certain fee etc (sometimes they fee us for anything) you can go back to step 3 and scroll down, it shows each item with your photo, or find the fee by the amount and it will show you what item it is for.
I think the monthly reports are a joke. This actually shows how much eBay takes from you for each sale. It is the only real positive I have found for having eBay manage my money for me!
