Metrics calculations

I notice that on my seller dashboard the metric percentages are calculated as “# of # transactions.”

So does “transactions” include both buys and sells (both of which are transactions) which would tend to skew the percentages? Or do they calculate it only on sales (and therefore use the wrong word)?

Re: Metrics calculations

My understanding is the "seller dashboard" is "selling".

Re: Metrics calculations

Selling metrics on selling transactions.  It's not based on $ sales, or on individual items, so 'transactions' is the correct word.

For example, a $10,000 item sold is... 1 transaction.

a single $5 item sold is... 1 transaction.

Twenty $5 items sold together is... 1 transaction.

Well, OK - but maybe I am just a little too language centric. If I BUY a $10,000 item that is also a transaction.
