I wish I'd seen your thread before you started revising the dates, but I was busy cutting down fruit boxes to stash my inventory.
There always seems to be a delay in starting MDM sales, and also they always seem to run for an hour or so AFTER the end date as well.
As others have said - once you start revising them the system counts every revision as "additional" until you finally hit the "too many items in a day" roadblock.
