MORE useless emails "Your eBay label is ready"

So apparently there is no way to stop these useless email notifications! All my shipping label communication preferences are turned off.  And now I see people have been complaining about this for over a year. Is there any other way to stop them? Just checking in case I missed something.

You are correct, you cannot turn off that email.  The setting in the site preferences does not stop that email.  Mine are all set to none and the "your ebay label is ready" arrives after shipping every single time.

Yes you can.  See my post # 4 on this thread for details.

I have not found a way to turn off the email for "Your Label Is Ready".  This is the only box I have found that looks like it would turn it off, but it doesn't.  Do you have another suggestion for a box to change to "None"?

IDK, it use to work.  If they have changed that, my apologies, I was unaware of that.  It says you can still change it.  I'll test it tomorrow.  Shipping today is done.  Thank you.

Thanks @mam98031   Please let me know is you are able to turn it off.

@mam98031   Nope doesn't work.  I am a NONE on all communication preferences and still get the "your shipping labels are ready" emails.

Thank you.  Well that stinks.  It use to work and clearly they are giving us the option.

you mentions that you'll test this tomorrow. If you do then I'm interested to know if there is any difference in emails sent 'Shipping label created'. What I'm wondering is if we send a different email separate from the 'your ebay label is ready' email that is no longer sent when the option is set to 'None'. Any info you can give me tomorrow will be really helpful for my report. Thank you!! 🙂

Mine has always been set to None....still is. I've recently started receiving the "Your eBay label is ready" emails.

Something broke.

Mam, that does not work... That is why everyone is complaining. Seems they forgot to program it correctly again when they made the new update to the label flow.

Re: MORE useless emails "Your eBay label is ready"

I use a different email address for ebay /PayPal just so i don't have to see the hundreds of useless emails they send daily...not just them as i also find emails from sellers i have bought from spamming me from their stand alone websites

I look at it perhaps every 3 months and mass delete the 3,000 emails in there.

I find i don't need to see their emails as customer messages come to the ebay message box and i don't need to be told what sold, when they paid, when my label is ready, when something i am watching got relisted...NONE of it as its there to see in the seller hub or my watch list

I log into Paypal only occasionally now as im in managed payments just in case there is a charge back from the summer i need to deal with

Separate ebay from your personal email would be my advice if your using your personal addy for ebay and its getting clogged!

Re: MORE useless emails "Your eBay label is ready"

@mam98031 Unfortunately NO option under communications turns off these emails. I have had mine off for years and went back in and turned them on and off again in an effort to stop all of these "Your label is ready." emails from filling my email box.

At the current time there seems to be no way to stop them.

My test failed as others have suspected.  I still got the emails.

So the question is, why does Ebay give us a site preference that leads us to believe we can block certain emails, but in reality they don't block these emails???

Perfect.  Please keep us updated.

FYI, that pesky red warning kept coming up with I tried to click on the reply button and it wouldn't give me the posting box.  I had to try several times before I could post a response.  I've had that happen more and more this week than in previous weeks.

Re: MORE useless emails "Your eBay label is ready"

this really is a PITA. It also relates the the "wait, we're working on it" emails I always get when I send a refund.  I don't want this nonsense.  I get 2 emails every time I send a refund AND 2 emails every time I print a label.  I need to shut them off!

Re: MORE useless emails "Your eBay label is ready"

I am not sure who you have as an email provider but I have filters set on my email account to automatically file these to my trash folder. Took a bit to get the filter set correctly since I had to base it on the subject line as opposed to the sender, I didn't want to file every eBay mail to trash, just the one's that I don't care to, or have no need to see.
