eBay has decided to restrict my account and asked me for receipts/invoices of all the items in my active listings and they also blocked my payouts, so I can no longer transfer the money that's on hold.
It's the most ridiculous thing ever, I've tried to explain to them that some of the items were bought ten years ago and Ive never kept receipts. I mean they are toys, Lego mini-figures and hot wheels cars, yet there acting like I'm selling real cars and electronic equipment.
I've sent a complaint to eBay explaining how stupid the situation was, but they're not budging and still insist that I provide receipts.

I will try many thanks for the suggestion.

oh Ebay will refund them but not from 'blocked funds', they will go to your banking source.

No they won't, that would be fraud.

If you buy a pair of trainers, never wear them, and decide to sell them on 4 years later ...you list them as new (never worn) even you had tried them on.
It's the exact same thing.
I appreciate all your answers, but to me it's just stupid, especially when I have had perfect feedbacks for all the ones I've sold, to me it seems that eBay is creating a problem that's not actually there.
And blocking my funds when I'm still supposed to send items to people who have paid for their items is most ridiculous.
I'm not going to send items if my funds are forever blocked as I can't provide receipts.
I've told eBay that I will not deal with it since they have decided to block my account, it's now their job to refund these people from the blocked funds.
No, they would be 4 years old, not new.
I would put in the listing that they have never been worn, but wouldn't list them as new.

You dont seem to understand how Ebay's seller criteria works at all, maybe read over the U/A you agreed to to sell on here.

And you don't seem to have read my previous posts : people have paid for their items, but the funds are now blocked because of the restriction.
So you're saying I'm supposed to sell my items for free and fork out the shipping costs..come on now🤣

You could have shortened your answer to "eBay never asks." 😯

Can you show me the post where I said that? What I said was when you dont ship your items, Ebay will refund the buyers from your payment source, usually a checking account, not from your blocked payments. And I didnt say anything about 'forking over shipping costs' I have no idea what that even refers to.

If they are actually new but not in original packaging, technically they are New (Other). This is where you put new items that are new but are not in original packaging. Probably where part of the problem is.

OK if you feel deeply about that, you can argue that point with Ebay, knowing that you may never be able to list these legos here because you insist on using New as the condition.
"Stupid" is an insulting word. You might consider replacing that word in your vocabulary. No one here has insulted you or your intelligence level, all anyone has done is try to help you.
Your funds being on hold is directly related to the MC011 you received. Ebay doesn't require you to agree with them in any action they may take when they deem you have some listing concerns. So while I understand why you are upset, you really need to set those feelings aside and work WITH Ebay to resolve this matter in as quick of a way as is possible.
"I've told eBay that I will not deal with it since they have decided to block my account, it's now their job to refund these people from the blocked funds." I'm not sure about the rules for the UK, but if there were to be a refund to a buyer and all your funds are on hold, the cost of the refund would come from your back up funding source or you attached bank account.
It seems to me that you think you can strong arm Ebay into doing what you think is the right thing. I assure you that is not going to happen. You will end up on the short end of this stick and potentially completely lose your privilege to sell on this site.

If you use Ebay shipping, you can have the funds come from your Ebay Managed payments account.

I looked at some of the listings.
They aren't new.
You could get away with New Other.
