MC011 - Tracking

Got the MC011 email that I never knew existed until tonight. It says its for “Provide proof of delivery for all of the items you sold on eBay by uploading tracking.” I replied to the email and alerted them to the location of all tracking for all items so they could verify.

1902 feedback, 100% positive. Literally 0 negative feedback ever. 14 years on eBay buying and selling.

Every item I sell is shipped through eBay shipping. So every item has tracking uploaded automatically (and I checked and it’s all there on the account). There is no external shipping or uploads to do. It’s all done through eBay.

So I cannot for the life of me figure out why I would get this email, get all my listings deleted, and be told that I need to provide proof of tracking/delivery when eBay already has all of that for every item I have ever sold.

From reading dozens of threads on this, CS was obv no help. But now I am supremely annoyed this may take 60-90 days or more to resolve when there appears to be no issue at all. So if anyone has any tips to help move the ball quicker, I would greatly appreciate it.

Wait! What??? I don't use Ebay's shipping program. But was going to, because of the "slight" savings in shipping and not having to upload tracking #'s when I get home from my P.O.. I thought it would be a timesaver.
And now you're telling me I'd STILL have to do it??
How inefficient and stupid is that?

You've been on eBay since 1998 and you're still schlepping your pkgs to the PO, paying counter rates and coming home and entering the tracking numbers?  Because there is only a "slight" savings buying postage from eBay and/or other places? Wow.

Good Morning,  It will be a better day...

I think it is time to go to the Facebook page and ask them what to do.  They are really great at explaining stuff.

Sometimes they are a little slow. You may want to say UGENT or something..

I really wish you luck, I would hate to lose you..

Great advice. Thank you!

Re: MC011 - Tracking

Got a reply to my MC011 email. It appears my up thread theory about the glitch of 8 packages showing “no tracking uploaded” is correct. They want proof of those being delivered because from their end on the surface it didn’t show them being shipped at all.

Interestingly today 7 of those flipped over from “no tracking uploaded” to having the tracking showing in the Hub. And most have been delivered. So the glitch seems to have fixed itself. Unfortunately that doesn’t solve the MC011 since it’s been opened.

And since there were additional items sold and shipped after those items I also have to wait for all of those “outstanding” shipments to be delivered then email them to check the tracking on all. Basically all sales from mid January forward.

So it looks like maybe a 7-10 day wait to get all packages finally marked as delivered by USPS and then I can alert them (one is going to Germany, so that’ll take the longest).

One interesting note, the CSR who responded said they CAN see the Seller Hub. Which is contrary to what they said previously. So luckily I don’t have to send them every tracking for every item ever sold and just need to confirm the delivery of the more recently sold items since mid January.

Re: MC011 - Tracking

Hay, were they all from a couple months ago?  There was some type of glitch.  Some of my items, I had to go to the shipped page and re-enter the tracking number.  It was there, so I just had to click it.  It just did not transfer from one page to the other.

Just my Two Cents...
Thank you for being here!

All of mine that did it where they didn’t show as shipped on the Seller Hub were from Jan 15-Jan 30.

Re: MC011 - Tracking

This should show up in:

"Tracking uploaded on time and validated"

So was there an issue with this?

Hay,  I do not mean to sound snide.  However, I don't know another way to say it.

You are about to cut of your nose to spite your face.  It does not matter how you think it should be.  You are correct, they should be able to check and see everything.  However, they don't.  You will need to follow through with doing how they want it done.   Do you really want to get NARU'd?

Just my two cents,

You can start bashing now.

Yyes. YOU need Just tell this poor seller WHERE to re-upload the ALREADY uploaded tracking information.

Lift your left leg at midnight to start off on the right foot. Happy new Year!

Yes. It instead showed “No Tracking Uploaded” despite it being uploaded and visible on the Order Details. It appears there was some glitch in the handoff between eBay bulk shipping labels and the Seller Hub updating.  So that seems to be what my issue was and it has now updated. Once they all show as ‘Delivered’ I should be in the clear. Just have to wait for that to occur for them to lift the MC011.

The security team can see your account and orders.  The ones I have talked to can.

Re: MC011 - Tracking

@slyfo-75

You appear to have a history of cancelling transactions from your less than favorable feedback left by your buyers.  Cancelling sales can be the kiss of death on Ebay.  It's bad way to do business and will eventually get you suspended.  You also have a lot of new items at rather high prices that doesn't really match your selling behavior from the past.  Most likely ebay will ask you for receipts, due to the fact that there is so much fraud  and stolen merchandise sold here on this platform.  Especially areas where the ports are being robbed left and right. Not saying this is your situation, but I would give Ebay any and all info they request and submit any receipts you have for your merchandise, because they will ask for them.

Good luck.
