Got the MC011 email that I never knew existed until tonight. It says its for “Provide proof of delivery for all of the items you sold on eBay by uploading tracking.” I replied to the email and alerted them to the location of all tracking for all items so they could verify.
1902 feedback, 100% positive. Literally 0 negative feedback ever. 14 years on eBay buying and selling.
Every item I sell is shipped through eBay shipping. So every item has tracking uploaded automatically (and I checked and it’s all there on the account). There is no external shipping or uploads to do. It’s all done through eBay.
So I cannot for the life of me figure out why I would get this email, get all my listings deleted, and be told that I need to provide proof of tracking/delivery when eBay already has all of that for every item I have ever sold.
From reading dozens of threads on this, CS was obv no help. But now I am supremely annoyed this may take 60-90 days or more to resolve when there appears to be no issue at all. So if anyone has any tips to help move the ball quicker, I would greatly appreciate it.

Digging a little deeper today, I found 8 sales in past month that have “no tracking uploaded” marked in the reporting on eBay’s backend. However, all 8 have tracking that was uploaded on the sale and purchased through eBay. When you click on each of items showing “no tracking uploaded”, the tracking number is listed on the order details.
The items range in price from $5 to $500. So I guess some system seeing 8 items in past month “no tracking uploaded” could have triggered this? And of course, no one bothered to actually look at the item order detail to see the tracking was actually uploaded and the “no tracking uploaded” was listed in error.
So this appears maybe to be a glitch where eBay’s system didn’t recognize that tracking was purchased through eBay and uploaded to the item. Which, if that is the case, is super fun to get suspended for a glitch in eBay’s handoff of tracking data. At least if this is the issue, I will be able to provide those tracking numbers since they are all attached to each item and eBay will be able to see they were always there and uploaded.
What a mess.

Hay, I do not mean to sound snide. However, I don't know another way to say it.
You are about to cut of your nose to spite your face. It does not matter how you think it should be. You are correct, they should be able to check and see everything. However, they don't. You will need to follow through with doing how they want it done. Do you really want to get NARU'd?
Just my two cents,
You can start bashing now.

To be clear, I’m trying to send them what they want. And I’ve replied to their email highlighting the tracking info on each item and asking what other information they need me to provide.
They asked for all tracking to be uploaded. I’m trying to figure out where to upload it. Because it’s already uploaded. And there’s nowhere to re-upload it.
Any advice would be well received.

I have seen this link from other sellers posting:
-----------------------
"- Provide proof of delivery for all of the items sold on your eBay account.
-- The easiest way to do this is to submit tracking numbers for each of the items posted. This will help show buyers more of your selling history and will also allow us to confirm that your items have been posted. To upload tracking, please visit the adding tracking information page: http://pages.ebay.com/help/pay/upload-tracking.html
(Also, please keep in mind that when you print a shipping label through eBay, tracking or Delivery Confirmation numbers automatically appear in the buyer's "Won" section in my eBay.)
-- You can also confirm delivery by providing the feedback you have received from buyers.
--------------------------------------------
I have no idea if that is a specific page, or a generated link for that seller......

I appreciate your help with that post.
When I go to that link though this is what it says
So that’s saying the tracking needs to be uploaded in the Seller Hub.
In my case, it’s already all there. When I follow those steps it’s already all filled in. So if that’s the steps, they have it.
I cannot find anywhere else to upload or re-upload additional tracking.
I’ve replied to the MC011 email asking for guidance in what tracking they would like and how they want it submitted or uploaded. And I guess I’ll just wait the 72 hours for that reply.

Wait! What??? I don't use Ebay's shipping program. But was going to, because of the "slight" savings in shipping and not having to upload tracking #'s when I get home from my P.O.. I thought it would be a timesaver.
And now you're telling me I'd STILL have to do it??
How inefficient and stupid is that?

The email you replied to, reply to it again and give the tracking numbers there.

Which they have.

That’s why I replied to the email asking how they’d like it the information because you can’t attach a document or spreadsheet. So I would be copy pasting 1,500 tracking numbers into a message.
My confusion exists largely in the use of the term “upload”. Which I guess they are using to mean “email”. But obviously those are different things. Either way, I’ve offered to email it all to them now.
I’m also hoping they’re not after every tracking number from the beginning of time. I do have it all, but that’s a lot for them to pore through to want a tracking number from 2008.
I told them I will provide any and all tracking numbers to them they would like. Just tell me what ones and how to send so it’s easily reviewable.

@joliztoyco wrote:Which they have.
Correct. But what I have now learned is that the (I’ll call it) “security team” doesn’t have access to see the tracking info that’s been uploaded to the Seller Hub.
So if they flag you for some reason, you have to re-provide it to them in some form. Which I guess is where I am now. Trying to sort out a spreadsheet v copy pasting all tracking for all items ever sold and hoping they give me a more narrow window of time to submit than “all”.
But everyone’s provided a lot of good info to help sort out what I need to do.

Just thinking out loud (trying to help)
What about uploading these 8? (to that link I posted)
Maybe that's what they're after.........

Yeah those are already uploaded at that link. That’s what I was trying to describe. They’re fully listed there with the tracking but the report shows not uploaded.
I’m thinking this might be the main issue. Cause to a quick glance it shows 7 items in last ~10 days not shipped. Until you look closer and see they all were shipped and shipped on time. But that’s what the MC011 is for us to verify.
So hopefully that’s the issue.
I appreciate the reply and the thought. I think we’ve drilled down on what it might be.

You don't think that would be a complete waste of time?
You believe that someone at Ebay would actually take the time to copy and paste each auction and tracking # he gives them and apply it to his auctions?
Plus, how in the world can they even do this when the tracking # is already filled out?
One click on his sold listings would give them all the information they need.
This is a nightmare of Ebay's making. Not the sellers.
And I don't see how he can fix it.

Yes, it is redundant and stupid. But as the OP said upthread, apparently the security team does not have access to the OP’s Seller Hub info.
This MC011 scenario has been getting posted about fairly often here in the forums. eBay asks for tracking documentation. But in this case, it is not clear where they want the information uploaded/sent. Like you said, it is a nightmare for the seller. Especially when there are sales in the hundreds of listings.

Good Morning, It will be a better day...
I think it is time to go to the Facebook page and ask them what to do. They are really great at explaining stuff.
https://www.facebook.com/search/top?q=ebay%20for%20business
Sometimes they are a little slow. You may want to say UGENT or something..
I really wish you luck, I would hate to lose you..
