Hi,
accidentally I noticed that my Good till cancelled listings were ended with no obvious reason. It has been happening for two weeks and only after that I noticed that. I communicated with eBay customer support and they told me my selling limits are 100 quantity in all my listings and 5000 USD value in all my listings? I have been selling on eBay for 15 year and last year I normally had hundreds of quantities and more than 20000 USD value.
Anybody with similar experience? Are they normally lowering seller's seling limits to earn less final value fees? It is like they shoot themselves in the leg, I totally doesn't understand that.
Thanks
Martin

There is a pink box at the bottom of the page and it says:
but no actual dollar or quantity amounts. So I guess I just won't fret about it.

Thanks for that info.

We’ll review your account every month and adjust your limit automatically based on your sales volume and the feedback you receive.

Where, please provide a screen shot. I don't see one in my Seller Hub.

Did they explain to you why they shut down some of your listings?

It is not in seller hub. It is on the help pages per the link nobdy's_perfect supplied re-posted here. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

I see no pink box on that page with a limit stated in it.

That was what I said: The pink box said
but no actual dollar or quantity amounts were present. Leading me to believe that I did not have a limit.

I see the same thing as you. I remember
ebay saying a long time ago that ebay sellers who started before they started posting the limits will not see their limits unless they go over them. I know that I’ve never seen mine.

Thank you for the visual. I always find that helpful. Still I do not see this for me, but thank you again.

That "Top takeaway" box appears at the bottom of almost every Help page. Sellers who have the pink box showing a seller's listing limits (which appears near the top of the page, right after the first paragraph) also see that same "Top takeaway" box at the bottom of the listing limits page. It's not related to the absence of a statement about your listing limits.

They make NO SENSE. We have been with eBay for like 20 YEARS, mostly buying.
On occasion, we would sell a used this or that. About a year ago, we wanted to sell our used Samsung phone for only $195 and were told "Sorry you have a $10 limit"
WHAT?!!! I even spoke to customer service and they would NOT help.
So ... we listed and sold it on Amazon - NO PROBLEMs.
Sorry eBay but we are not going to jump through hoops to "prove to you that we are a great seller with a 20 year history" merely to sell a used cell phone.
They are GIVING AWAY the seller market to Facebook and Amazon - just stupid - especially for a PUBLIC company.
