Hello
I sold an item on Ebay. It was never delivered and has been lost at the depot. The buyer recieved confirmation that Yodel could not find the parcel. They put in a claim through Ebay and have been refunded. I have proof of postage (picture of the receipt with tracking number). Will I be able to reclaim the money for the lost item from Yodel or Ebay? When I contacted Yodel they said they had to get the complain through Ebay. Ebay said "I highly suggest you to contact the courier and file a "Lost Claim" with them as they will investigate where they have delivered the item."

Your contract for shipping was with Yodel.
Yodel lost the shipment
Your claim is with Yodel.
You could also make a chargeback from the credit card you used to pay for shipping.

Yodel is one of those couriers where claims can get a bit convoluted when postage has been purchased through ebay.
I believe this problem has come up many times. A quick search on the UK forum should come up with the answers you are looking for.

Oh. I thought I just didn't recognize an American company.
And it's a British company I didn't recognize.
Advice still stands.
