Would you complain to ebay or just let it be?

I checked his feedback left for others, he does that to everyone.

FYI I'm not a political person. I'm not a ********  -or- a ********.

I see one where you should get 25 stars. That's awesome!

Second that. It's meaningless in terms of feedback about you. I would also point out that it doesn't even show up in the first place unless the viewer changes the ordering from "Most Relevant" (God knows why) to "Most Recent" instead.

Found it. Of course I forgot to sort by newest…which I would report the buyer. That does not belong here.

block the moron.

I'd ignore it.

It is inappropriate, but it doesn't reflect negatively on your transaction, and it will slip away soon enough.

I wouldn't bother reporting it.   It's ignorant to put that on someone else's account, having nothing to do with you as a seller....but it only reflects on him, not on you.    And as mentioned, you have to go to most recent feedback to see it.   But I would definitely block him so he doesn't get a chance to do it again!

I think some buyers are just annoyed they have to type anything. I get a lot that say "ok" and leave it at that since they are forced to type something there. But yes, really no place for it on Feedback to mention politics.  Maybe if they were buying current candidate merch on either side, but even then kind of odd....

They gave you a positive feedback so I would say let it be. Don't worry about it. It will eventually be hidden from all the other future feedback you receive. Now if it does bug you that much then contact Ebay for removal.

I usually ask eBay to remove feedback comments promoting politics or religion and I've never had a problem getting that done.

In eBay's newly beefed up feedback policies they specifically mention that political FB is eligible for removal.

"We remove all feedback that contains any: Opinions on any political, religious, or social issues"

I would report the buyer.  It's not the purpose of feedback and has no place there.  I don't care what party they would have named, politics don't belong in the feedback.

I would report the buyer and I'd say they have done this many times to other sellers.  The buyer just needs to be educated on what the proper place for this is.
