Long, long time eBayer here, been with them since 1997, a charter member of Paypal too.  I use to see everything that was for sale on eBay scroll by, item by item, all on one page.  Those were the best buying days!  From coins, to paper and books, odd and valuable things too.  Missed those days for sure. 

So being a member for 27 years, mostly selling, I have seen eBay corner us sellers, force many changes on us.  Raise prices and fees.  Hell, we have no income tax or sales tax here in New Hampshire but I am forced to pay fees on taxes in another state!  And all this "promotion" dung.  Quite the rigging.  I won't be around much longer so I guess it doesn't matter much but I resent the fact that eBay treats us sellers with such disrespect.  You would think they would try and help folks that were loyal to their platform.  Paypal gave us long term haulers stock options, maybe folks made out well.   eBay should give some consideration for 25+ years of loyalty.  Just my thoughts on all the outrageous fees and charges.  Hopefully I am around long enough to see it crumble.

If the institution behaves rudely with those from whom it receives money. Ebay does not take money from buyers.
In fact, there is a fairly good business on the Internet on advertising. Where you earn your money absolutely honestly. A wide circle of people who are ready to pay you money for your work.
A Ukrainian named Slobozhenko, he is 25 years old, he earns two million dollars a month on advertising. And he came to this business without money. He does not hide what he does. Everyone has an opportunity.
Can Ebay with its Stupid approach to sellers give the opportunity to earn at least two hundred thousand dollars a month?
I am already finishing with Ebay, which blocked my account because of ONE negative review and THREE refunds to buyers. You can't be honest on Ebay. It is prohibited! They will block you for this.

I live in Ukraine. We had Aerosvit airline. Which had a wide range of flights. Only Aerosvit flew from Kyiv to New York. This is an example.
The airline management treated the crews and very often the passengers like beasts.
Aerosvit went bankrupt! eBay with such a beastly attitude towards honest sellers will also soon go bankrupt.
There are many alternatives. Many other auctions. There is a fairly good business in advertising on Google and Facebook. Where you do not need to wrap up the goods, worry that they will break on the way and not think about the fact that you went to help the buyer, and eBay blocked you for it.

Have you tried doing business on the Internet without eBay? Try it. As soon as your first success comes, you will understand how much of a swamp eBay is. Try it and you will succeed. The main thing is to want it!

I have been on eBay since 2008 and have often asked the administration for help.
I want to clarify. I live in Ukraine. Since 2008, Ukraine has been served by the administration from the USA, real people have always come to the rescue. Since 2014, Russia has been serving Ukraine on eBay. And there have been constant nitpicking and suspicions of dishonesty. It took me a lot of effort to return to service in the USA.
Around 2020, India has been serving Ukraine. And it has become so bad that it is impossible to describe in words. India supports Russia in politics. And after the start of the big war, the attitude towards Ukrainians on eBay has become much worse.
In the first days of the war, eBay announced benefits for sellers from Ukraine. What benefits? Cancellation of any fees for listings and sales. The cynicism is that the whole world and eBay assumed that Ukraine would perish in a matter of days. At the end of 2022, eBay cancelled benefits for sellers from Ukraine. Why? The war is not over! eBay is losing money because Ukraine is resisting! The cynicism is off the charts. There are many more examples of eBay's extremely negative attitude towards the Ukrainian military.

Soon China will not be on any markets. Why? China has officially started supplying its weapons to Russia to continue the war. Europe is already preparing serious sanctions.
How do I know? I am a resident of Ukraine and read the daily news.
So, Germany will soon return to the rating, especially since it was Germany that raised the issue of Chinese weapons supplies to Russia.
