Local Pickup: Why purchase before pickup? Defeats purpose.

The whole point of local pickup is the buyer meet seller, inspects item, and then purchases it.  That way there are no disputes.

But it seems that is not the case.

So how does it work?

Any what about the option to accept cash payment?

Thats great, Ive had several high end pick up only sales, and they couldnt have gone better.

My whole point for local pickup, in addition to what you listed:

*  Buyer does not pay shipping

* I can list over sized "unshippable" item's
