Hi! I have created a listing a few days ago. I created it using "sell similar." It has not showed up in my store or on the search despite any amount of promotion value I add. Upon searching ebays help section, it says it can take up to 24hrs for a post to show up on the search, but fails to mention why it won't show up on my store. It lists possible reasons being that the listing is not active or that it is still a draft. I have confirmed that the item is both active and not a draft. The listing in question DOES show up on my dashboard under active listings and will even allow me to SHARE this listing, but as I have mentioned, it does NOT show up in store or on search. I have checked both while logged out as a random user, and on several different devices ( desktop, tablet, & phone. ) I have been eBaying since 12' and never had this issue. I have tried revising, ending, relisting, filling out every item specific, checking for description banned phrases/typos, all to no avail. what could be the possible issue?! has this happened to anyone else? I was hoping to sell this item just in time for the holidays and my clock is ticking away! This issue has already caused me to miss listing it for Black Friday and cyber Monday. Frustrated!

You currently have 121 active items. Can you provide a bit more information like a scree shot of the listing, possibly a description of what it is or an item number?

New listings can take up to 24 hours from the last revision to be indexed and appear in search.
If it has been at least 24 hours since the last revision and you still do not see it, please post an item number.

I searched "Microgo M5 Electric Scooter"
It is 1st sorted "Newly Listed"
It is 9th sorted "Ending Soonest"
It is 1st sorted "Best Match"
It is 2nd Sorted "Price+Shipping: lowest"

We just watched in real time, me posting the link to the item in question. a few min later it getting a view from the link, and now the item is showing up in our newly listed section on the store. I guess all it needed was a view somehow to get it unstuck from the matrix? It still does not solve why this happened?

I have noticed that when you search in a specific category and change the "sort by" sometimes the same listings won't show up, in fact sometimes a lot of listings will disappear. One such search that indicated there was over 3k results suddenly narrowed it down to 140 when I filtered by lowest price first. That's a LOT of hidden listings in a "sort by" filtration... I don't want any filtration I want to see all 3k + listings sorted by my parameters.
What's going on with search? It is certainly effecting sales.

The "Price plus shipping: lowest first" sort order provides filtered results -- often drastically filtered. And the option to "see more results" may not always be shown as it should. The filtering may vary depending on the keywords used.
If you encounter a drastically filtered result for a keyword search using a desktop browser, you should be able to use the "Feedback" link in the lower right corner of the search results to provide feedback on your search to eBay developers. The more users provide info, the more likely something is to be done about the over-filtration problem.
You can avoid that problem entirely by using a different sort order.
If you have few results, try sorting by "highest first", then starting at the end of the results, scroll up instead of down. This also avoids the problem of variation listings with low-cost variations appearing at the top of the lowest-first sort.
If you have a bookmarked or saved lowest-first search that you use a lot, you can avoid the filtration by adding the following to the end of the search URL, then saving the resulting search:
&_blrs=recall_filtering
If a search returns results that do not appear to contain your chosen keywords in the titles or item-specifics, try putting one of your search keywords in quotes.
Using quotes around one of your search keywords forces eBay to avoid any keyword substitutions or corrections and search for literal matches only.

I appreciate the info. I will say it didn't used to work like this for me, this is a new thing as in like THIS MONTH. It used to work as it should. I fear they're over-filtering results based on PL status and if that's true its going to be the beginning of the end.
As a buyer I don't want my results filtered. I want to see EVERYTHING available, especially when it comes to collectables, etc. Every result counts because you never know what is missed out on. It's not fair to do this to sellers but most of all it's going to run off buyers who are sick and tired of having to "game" the search to see what they want to find. People will eventually just get frustrated and leave. Sellers too. Listings aren't getting viewed because they're not even getting seen. Eventually this is going to cause a lot of legal issues for ebay because if people are paying for the service and their listings are getting buried or not shown then what are they paying for? It's like taking your car in for detailing and all they do is hose it down and hand you the keys. Big problems coming.
There's no happy ending for this if they don't let search continue with the least amount of meddling. I really don't like where this is going.

Thank you to everyone who responded and offered insight. It is very much appreciated. Im still puzzled as to why it wouldn't show the item listed in my store for a few days. On the particular day that I had listed the item, I had also listed several other items. All of the items I listed that day appeared instantly in both my store and on search with the exception of the scooter. Im not sure if it was a bug on eBay's side and I still don't know exactly what fixed the issue. All I know is that it never showed up since listing, even up to all day today, until I posted the link. As far as the "sort by" updates, I had already learned about that through an eBay podcast I watch on YouTube everyday. Thanks again everybody!

I will say [lowest first sort] didn't used to work like this for me, this is a new thing as in like THIS MONTH.
eBay has been filtering the lowest first sort for years, though at least at first the filtering was not as drastic as it has been the last six months or so.
Here is an early thread about this exact issue:
And another thread from February:
https://community.ebay.com/t5/Ask-a-Mentor/searching-lowest-price-plus-shipping-first/m-p/33560014
The results tend to vary by keyword, and it is possible that different keywords have run into problems at different times.
If you want to see all results, avoid the "lowest first" sort or use the various workarounds to avoid the filtering.

Hello,
I have the same problem mentioned above, with several listings
Here is an example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/296198252350
this product is active in the dashboard part, but is not displayed in my eBay store.
Thank you for your help.

I see it in your store.
That item does not ship to Morocco, so you would not see it if you use an address in Morocco to calculate shipping.
