The link works for me. Chrome with Win 8.1. You may have to turn off your ad blocker though.
Nice job of editing the clip though NOT - Weenie doesn't come on until 10'23" into the clip. Until then you get to look as some ugly red screen.
Thanks, I don't use Chrome or an ad blocker.
Probably better not to watch, as whatever they say, they seem to do something different.

Comes up as a blank page for me. I figured that was about the gist of it anyway.

Same here............I didn't want to see it anyway. Just thought I'd see if I could.

It won't matter what they say anyway ... Whatever Happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas.

Are you sure he didn't say something about eBay being transplanted ... to China?

Very enthusiastic crowd!!!?
Mr. Wenig's enthusiasm & announcements were applauded.
Anyone who can comment on the degree of excitement that his statements created within the audience that was present ?

I had to get past the t-shirt worn with what looks like a suit coat, but once there he says some interesting things and I'll have to watch it again (I started at the time when Wenig was speaking). His pacing is good but he did seem to be milking crowd enthusiasm, and at that point floats right onto the edge of irritated sarcasm - that's not good. Still, I'll go through it again.

An online friend is at Open right now - she's cited some interesting changes to the listing flow (better imaging tools, etc.) - I couldn't afford Open this year.

@dhbookds wrote:Just for info......they are announcing seller protection stuff at open......Wenig referred to it. I don't think it will be broadcast tho........at least from what I can see on the ebay for business page.........
they did announce managed shipping.....i.e. pay ebay to warehouse stuff and there is an announcement on that
From a business standpoint why did Ebay wait so long to enter the fulfillment business? They let Amazon capture the market and now will be playing catch up.
I'm assuming Ebay's thinking had been that they have been and always will be in the business of facilitating online transactions and not invest in the warehousing aspect. But when you look at how over the years grew with FBA's dominance one would think that the suits at Ebay would have rethought things earlier.
The same argument goes for cloud computing. All the legacy tech companies stood by while AWS took over what...like 99% of cloud computing business.

It looks worse than it did two years ago. No doubt about it.

SMH..... There is ABSOLUTELY NO SELLER PROTECTION WHATSOEVER. I am so furious that a buyer has ALL the power over your rating and MOST IS BULL**bleep**! I am restricted because of buyers LIES. No question, no, "Hey seller, is this accurate?" Ebay should NOT HAVE THE POWER TO RESTRICT YOU SALES, PERIOD! Ok so here it is, how about I AM THE BUYER FOR EBAY!!???? HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! HYPOCRITES!
