Listings not appearing

I am completely frustrated! I have over 700 listed items active and only 100 are showing up when I do a search.  I’ve tried numerous times to contact EBay customer service only to have my phone calls directed to on line help and on line help directing me to canned questions and responses. I need to speak to a human! Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!!

Just a theory here....

I see you have many "multiple" items listed

as well as "items sold" with still available stock

each item counts as "1" on your active listings

example: Earrings 2 Sold 3 Available will count as 5 on your active listings

even though it is 1 item in your list

(clarification: it lists in qty as total), so my theory might be wrong

You say you have 700 active items??

quick follow-up to my theory

My "Active Listings" Tab says 271, yet I only have 156 on my search from the buyer side

because, I have many items with "0" inventory....

I am using the option to save the listing (show out of stock)

Might have to do with how many you can list with your subscription with EBay . Check your subscription with number allowed to post. My subscription monthly price is $21.95. Your monthly cost should be the same or higher.

Is it possible that the ones that are not showing have a 0 quantity?  If the out of stock option is on the listings will show as active in sellers hub but not to buyers.

I'm having the same problem.  Ebay has no support whatsoever, and I've called several times,, and basically they just say they are working on it.  with no time frame to resolve.  "Could take up to a month".

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions and input. I FINALLY got through to Ebay and after telling me that several other people were having the same problem the rep asked me if I’d revised any of the items in the last 24 hours and the answer is yes.  Last night I attempted to change my shipping policy to include Canada on all of my listings and 100 of them didn’t take, due to errors.  Those 100 are showing up, but the other 600+ are not because she said all revisions now go through some kind of validation process and by tonight, 24 hours later, all of my listings should show up.  So basically any time you make a revision to a listing expect to wait up to 24 hours for that listing to show up.  Very disappointing.  I’ve been an EBAY seller for almost 10 years and in my opinion their policies and customer service have declined significantly. Thanks to all who responded.
