I sell Toy & Hobby items and we often have the same model with the only difference being color, or perhaps railroad road name or number. The Variation Listing page says to use the "Advanced Listing Form" in My EBay or the variation option is also available in Seller Hub. Nowhere do I see any options pop up to use an Advanced Listing Form. This seems to be one of the best-kept secrets in E-Bay! Any clues appreciated!

Unless they've changed it, there used to be a link in the upper right side of the listing page to switch.

Sometimes the Advanced listing form is referred to as the "business tool" so look for a link to that. Another strategy would be to go to an existing listing in that category that uses variations and click on "Sell one like this" under the Gallery image in the listing.

After a little experimentation, I see that in the category I usually use, variations are not permitted. However, if I change it, the variation option pops up. This is not clear on the "How to add variations on eBay listing" article, which implies that all "Toys and Hobbies" items are eligible for listings with variations.
Thanks to everyone who provided tips!

Maybe the answer is for someone at E-bay with logic, redesign the menus of the entire site. I find the entire thing outdated, like it hasn't been touched since 1995 origination. Any 2 pages have a different location of link name to where you want to go next!

Thank you to all in this posts. I have struggled with this the past two evenings and spent a lot of wasted time reading articles and clicking links...going to where the article reads and I got nothing! So, I appreciate the question and replies. I'll try some magic now. Cheers, Anna
