Good Evening.
Can an experienced seller please advise how to create a template --ie: handling time, shipping parameters, return policy, etc -- for listings? Is there a way to do that? It is extremely time consuming to do listings because the defaults in the fields are filled in with everything other than what I want for my listings: I need to change them each and every time I list.
Thank you.

I used templates when I started selling, but soon realized tht ebay changes things so often that they soon become obsolete. Pushing for free shipping, changed categories, 30-day vs. 30-day returns, country of manufactur, and many other requirements change often. Even shipping weight limits for first class packages changed recently for example. I now just use sell similar even for creating a totally new listing. It take smuch less time over the course of a year.

@jamie-yates wrote:I made a bunch of templates because it is a waste of time filling in certain things (not including when you click fixed price it can take five minutes before it changes to fill in that field). And so great, but . . . Templates don't seem to be available on the eBay mobile app either on iPad or android phone. Only if I create the listing on my computer. Since I always take pictures on a mobile device, I always start the listing on a mobile device and finish on the computer. Where can I pick my template on mobile?
I started selling from the eBay mobile app and use it almost exclusively for my listings. (I usually don't get too involved with the site editor.) I was pleased to find out a template feature existed! So I went to my phone to start creating one but had no luck; I cannot find templates on the app.
Please does anyone know where I (and jamie-yates!) can use templates?

The best solution to this is to buy this item and let designer do their job in professional way to create you a template.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Custom-eBay-Store-Shop-Responsive-Listing-Template-Design-Package-2017-Com...
you can buy their service in about 25 - 50 GBP
and they will design a template for you according to ebay new rules
there are numerous ways to use that HTML code (template)
they will give you written instructions with that or provide some tool to use it
infact they will do a matching ebay store design as well with installation free.
This whole will give a good look to your ebay store and items to present as a big company in front of your buyers
