Listing Relisted Item and Placement

Simple Question. After Using the freebee listings, To Relist an Item, I Pay with My own Money, But the Placement of the item goes to page 1000. New Listings goes to page One. My Question is, If I Pay for a Listing, A Relisted Item, should it be Going to page One??

The simple answer is, No.

Thats not how listing placement works.

Unless you're paying to promote it, and even then...

Free listing or paid listing has no bearing on the search.

A new listing goes to page 1 only if you are searching for new listings regardless if it's a free listing or paid listing.

The placement one gets in Search results has many factors. But there is no guarantee one will get premium placement simply because it is a paid listing vs a free listing. For more information on Search placement factors, see the link below. This info is found in the User Agreement, Section entitled “Listing Conditions”:

  • We strive to create a marketplace where buyers find what they are looking for. Therefore, the appearance or placement of listings in search and browse results will depend on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to:
    • buyer's location, search query, browsing site, and history;
    • item's location, listing format, price and shipping cost, terms of service, end time, history, and relevance to the user query;
    • seller's history, including listing practices, Detailed Seller Ratings, eBay policy compliance, feedback, and defect rate; and
    • number of listings matching the buyer's query,..”
