Listing Page > Search Store Sub Categories

Today when I tried to pull up a Store Sub Category ( Scouts > Patches > 1970s) the Main Category (Scouts) was not being displayed. I have multiple Store Categories with Sub Categories.  At the top are listed all my custom store categories with NO sub categories, but not one of my store categories that have a sub category is displaying. That is the majority of my inventory. On the "new" way to search, they were shown at the bottom instead of in alphabetical order. Now they are not displaying at all.  You seem to be able to pull them up in the live store, just not on the listings pages. I was going to do some bulk edits this morning. Anyone know a workaround? I am afraid if I do a search, not everything I want to edit will come up. Thank you!

I'm having the same issue. It's only showing 5 store categories. Not cool.

When I clicked on show more at the bottom of the categories, Scouts came up as did the categories.

Re: Listing Page > Search Store Sub Categories

I see approximately 20 in your store. When I click on see more just 1 more category comes up. Perhaps it reacts differently on different browsers? I use Firefox. Or, they are testing something and only some people are affected.

Re: Listing Page > Search Store Sub Categories

I too have this issue. It started on 10/2/2024 at roughly 9:30 CT.

My store still has the items, just can't sort them on the manage listings page, very frustrating! Hope they fix this soon.

A few weeks ago they  updated the listings page search and took out the ability to search custom label (SKU) bucket, but was fixed in a day or two. Hopefully the same will happen here 🤞

Hi devon@ebay kyle@ebay elizabeth@ebay - is there an open tech ticket for this issue that sellers can reference when contacting CS? Bunch of reports last couple days of sellers not able to access store categories that have sub-categories through their seller hub active listings page.

This appears to be a tech issue with sellers that were opted in to the new (still really, really awful) seller hub active listings navigation 2 days ago. See bold text in above quote.

Re: Listing Page > Search Store Sub Categories

I am guessing eBay support decided to just pull store categories with the issues. I no longer have the option to filter by store categories within active listings. Everything looks fine within the actual shop site. Issue occurs in both Chrome and Edge. Clearing site cookies did not solve the issue. Incognito, same result.

Re: Listing Page > Search Store Sub Categories

In your screenshots @average_joe_gamerz the first one shows you have a filter applied. To the right click "clear all" then check to see if your categories appear.

Yep - I have been having the same issue for 2 days now.  Ebay knows about the issue but no ETA.  Very frustrating for me - I needed to do some work this weekend.

Re: Listing Page > Search Store Sub Categories

This is brand new and its awful. Everyone needs to bombard ebay using the comment/feedback tab.

People are starting new threads every day multiple times a day.

Its obvious that whoever designed this new system has never sold one thing in their entire life.

Whoever knows how to get to the ebay personnel or cc some ebay rep who comes on these boards should be on blast about how bad this design is

Issue occurs in both Chrome and Edge.

Edge os based on Chrome, they often share browser specific issues.

For what it's worth @joyful_dragonfly I'm experiencing the problem on all of my selling accounts with all browsers tested (Safari, Firefox). It's severely inhibiting my ability to work on active listings.

On one of my stores, every category has subcategories, which means I can't filter by any category because none are visible in the filter list.

Filtering by eBay category not only doesn't line up with my Store categories, but can take several extra clicks to get down to a single category path.

I gotta have more cowbell.

Re: Listing Page > Search Store Sub Categories

Its not a browser issue, its a new design issue, and the design is idiotic
